We're not going to clinch a CL spot and I can be sure the likes of Torres and Reina leaving. That'll put a big hole in the club

I think we're all being a tad hasty. If we give Roy enough time he could have us playing like that home and away.

WTF does that mean? That he will be as shit at home or do you really think that he can turn it around?

Terrible, terrible tactics scuppered us again today. Everything we did tactically played right into Stoke's hands and it's a familiar theme in all our away games and many home too under Hodgson.

The guy hasn't got a clue what he's doing, and I better leave it at that or I'd probably end up getting a ban.

Why delay sacking him, why wait? I don't see a good reason for him not getting the boot first thing tomorrow.

They should of been writing up his P45 at half time

If Roy stays is there any point in watching an away game

He can't get anything out of this team! Week after fucking week we play like uutter dogshit! We've played well ONCE in 13 league games, and that was against the champions.

He's fucking shite, mate. And yes, I can lay it at his feet because it's he who's picking a central midfielder to play on the right, a right winger to play on the left, a centreback to play at right back, and then switching it back around only when it's too late.

He needs to go, right fucking now.

*nod*  Can't be any other way about it now.

Why why why did we play just the way Stoke wanted? Why play an aerial game when we have about 2 players who can head a ball? Just can't get my head around it.

cos in his vast 35yrs of football management, that is the only way he has learnt to play!

to those that thought, the chelsea result was a springboard, watch the game again. yes we won that game, but the performance was shocking especially the 2nd half. We have not won a single game where we have actually played well.

i hate watching lfc play at the moment, so imagine what the likes of torres & pepe must feel like having to play this absolute rubbish tactical game!!!

Roy out!!!

Are we really saying it was all Roys fault and not utter shit from some of our players?

Tactically baron yes, but you cant land it all on him today

If you have a CB who is very slow and poor going forward with the England RB available or a more competent young CB who has been good at RB then he's screwed that one up.

If you have Gerrard sitting deep and Meireles on the right you have just taken away any liason between the strikers and the midfield.

So we have: a slow CB playing RB, a player better at going forward playing too deep, a traditional CM playing RM, a good wide player in Johnson sitting on the bench, and then waiting until the 75th to do anything about a lineup that was stagnant.

On top of this you have Torres with his back to the goal or collecting the ball at half the whole game, which is basically the opposite of what he's the best in the world at, then yes it is all his fault.

You can also look at the apparent enthusiasm with hoofing. We were so much better with the ball along the floor, even moving it up from the back. Yet, it was forward, back, back Reina and then either a hoof right there(because he had to) or a pass to Carragher or Konchesky who would follow with a needless hoof.

Took a while to text me back as he text me and then lost his signal which tends to happen, but there Dalglish chants from the moment they took the lead. General shouts about what was being done by the manager, ie fuck all, and nothing being shouted down by the whole away end

Hodgson being sacked is truly inevitable, everyone can see it, why delay it? Put everyone out of their misery now and bring in a new manager who can handle a big club.

Or the this is the 3rd game in 6 days shite and my players are very tired, like someone maintained before if Hodgson is as dignified as he makes out to be he should do the honourable thing.

One way to describe the last six days, the good (chelsea), the bad (wigan) and the ugly (stoke).
Hodgson surely has to be out now. The guy has again showed he has no idea where players are positioned best. At least he didn t play poulsen, but I cant imagine it would have been much worse tonight if heŽd played poulsen up front and left nando on the bench.
PLEASE lets hope the old tosspot is gone by christmas. Talking about Johnson needing to show improvement? You hypocritical cretin. Just imagining his post match comentary- "wew (well), we were by far the best team on the field. Stoke hardwy ewer had the baww, and I fought we deserved at least a point tonight" Fuck off Roy, I am sick off your shite

well summarized for the last 3 games. he didn't play poulsen today but he'll sure play him in Lucas absence. but i hope he'll be gone before Lucas comes back from suspension. this cannot drag till Christmas...
it's been more than 10 games hasn't it been Roy? it's frustrating seeing you stroke your face, looking just as completely clueless as the way the team is playing.

I think one of the most frustrating things is that the consistantly amazing support we recieve from the travelling Kop  is going to waste. Those poor lads have to watch, week after fucking week, some of the most dreadful, uninspired and frustratingly negative football ever witnessed from Liverpool FC, yet they keep going week after week and singing their fucking hearts out to support our club. If Carragher really did have a go at them as he walked off (as is being rumoured on Twitter) than he can fuck right off because he has lost all touch with the fan base he supposedly represents.

I thought the Chelsea result would herald a run of good performances from us. I was hoping we had turned the corner so to speak. But the Wigan game and todays game reaffirmed one thing for me: and that is that Roy Hodgson is not the right man for Liverpool football club.

and it is purely down to the fact that he doesn't have a clue how to set a team up away from home. 4-4-2 was always going to be a disaster against Stoke, desperately needed a midfield today and I can't help but feel that an extra man in there (Meireles preferably) would have steadied things, allowing Kuyt to break from the right and giving Stevie the freedom to get some service to Torres.

The simple fact is that Hodgson didn't set the team up properly. He had a chance to change things but waited and waited and waited before he made a change, and in taking off Maxi he made a huge mistake, as I think he's been one of our better players recently. All too little too late...

The guy doesn't have either the quality nor the belief to be Liverpool manager, he's turned us into a predictable laughing stock. Recent good wins have merely bought him time, the real Liverpool showed up today, and was a complete crock of shit. Henry has to act quickly, otherwise we won't even have any European football next season. If they want to have a chance of keeping the top players this is the minimum requirement. Hell, even in Ged's last season he got us qualified for the CL, and back then that wasn't good enough for us. This mid table mediocrity is beyond even the worst of the Souness years, this man has to go now otherwise the work that Ged and Rafa did to get us back to the top of European football will be completely destroyed.

Depends, if you mean who could do better with us, Ancelotti, Ferguson, Houllier, Hughes, Mancini, Redknapp, Wenger and I have a feeling Di Matteo is going to be a decent manager.
I think Martinez could be decent also.
