Im building to Knightfall, its one of the last on my list, want to cram as much comic-ness in before getting to it so i know the full backstory.

Hush is an art book with speech bubbles. Not worth it from a story-telling point of view.

Is that the one that played with the fonts a lot, different fonts for different characters?

Went to see Prometheus today, saw the trailer for this. Looked epic on the big screen, goosebumps. Anticipation rises...

Just got Jeph Loeb's Batman trilogy, Long Halloween, Dark Victory and Haunted Knights. Long Halloween in particular inspired some of The Dark Knight.

Booked tickets this morning to see this at the IMAX in Glasgow. Can't wait.

I have bought tickets for BFI imax on Friday 27th though I am hoping Warner brothers send me preview invites so I can review.

Happy it is not in 3D and cannot wait to see this baby on the biggest screen. No hype for me, I just really appreciate Nolan's work.

I was going to book for this as well.

Now considering trying D-Box at Cineworld. Anyone ever tried it? Any good?

BFI tickets booked for 4am on Saturday morning.

Still hoping for cast and crew screening tickets. hardly anyone is getting a credit though. apparently they've been cut right down so the film can be longer!

In terms of quality I'm expecting this to be around the level of Batman Begins, the Dark Knight was just too good, it's one of those movies where you just can't see how you could top it. If anything, Nolan set the bar too high with it and nothing this film does will be able to top that.

It's also hard to make the third movie in a trilogy the best, I'm struggling to think of any.

Even if it's not the best film, even if it's as good as Begins and nothing more, I'll stick by my opinion that this will go down as one of the greatest trilogies of all time.

Well Inception was better than the Dark Knight but he'd had a decade to write the script.

My main worries with Tdkr are the shoddy CGI and casting the annoying Hathaway in a main role.

Tickets went on official sale for this today. Went online to book some tickets at 2pm for Birmingham IMAX and they'd sold out for the evening show. Looked at the week after and there's only shitty seats left. Mental, people have been planning well for this.

Would just like to tell you all that the excellent Court of Owls arc in the Batman comic, which was on the road to being potential movie-material, has just been ruined with the reveal that they are headed by OWLMAN, who is... Bruce Wayne's long lost brother, Thomas Jnr. This shit is canon now. WTF.

There are 2 bits of new footage in that trailer that honestly made my jaw drop. And then there's the score.

Immense.
You have posted literally nothing of substance to flame about.  Your "points", and I dread to call them that, were superficial and completely arbitrary.  Nothing you said could be argued against because nothing you said elaborated a position of any kind.

What the fuck is all that about? A 5 second out of context clip from a trailer is the one best scenes ever? Reads like a parody of those mental Batman fans from around the internet.

Loving the new trailer though, much better than the original.

Scene never really registered with me any more so than the other, has to be extracting the urine or a bit simple.

Hope they somehow keep this world going after Dark Knight Rises think it'd be criminal that The Riddler doesn't even appear in Nolan's grim-dark realistic universe, as long as he didn't turn into a jigsaw-clone. Would like the Penguin to be a side-villain too

Would be good but with Nolan and Bale leaving it seems unlikely.

My guess is the next Batman film will star who ever plays him in the now inevitable justice league movie

IMAX in Glasgow are doing the Caped Crusader Double Bill so Batman Begins followed by the The Dark Knight back to back. Bought tickets last week, don't rate Batman Begins that much but watching The Dark Knight in IMAX is going to be epic.

They're doing an animated movie of that, it'll be in two parts. First one comes out this winter I think.

If they were to do a live action DK Returns, my dream Bruce Wayne/Batman for that is Kurt Russell.
