There is a very good chance Rafa will be back. He practically said that he would jump at the chance to come back and our best success in the last 20 years came under him. Given the likely positive fan reaction, NESV may go for it.

The only managers that can touch Rafa are Ferguson, Wenger, Guardiola, Ancellotti and Mourinho. Mourinho is the only likely target there and I would take Rafa over him any day.

You have my list there.. (delete Ferguson (stupid old c*nt) and Wenger ... anorecsic moaner) and the others are fine! Oh... Mourinho is an ugly basterd too ... so there's Pep, Ancellotti and Rafa... add to that Capello.

E-mailing NESV directly is an interesting option - at that point we would be toeing the line between being perceived as activist fans and a constantly irate distraction. I agree that Roy has to go - the sooner the better, but I don't think NESV have enough footing in the football world to make a decision like this so quickly. Their football man is probably Christian Purslow. He appointed Hodgson and I don't think he is going to dump the man he ushered into the job. A couple more losses and I think their hand will be forced.

i dont see how abusing sarge is going to sort this.
If we want him gone, then WE can make that happen by emailing NESV

I wouldn't surprised if they have people already looking at candidates.

Rafa walked alone. That thought haunts me. Hundreds of thousands of people worldwide who casually sing that song let him walk alone.

You, me and plenty of other Reds will always be grateful for what Rafa did for the club. Which is why he'll never walk alone.

...and then call for the next manager to be sacked about 6 months later?

Please do not email NESV about removing the manager. We should not force our views on them. If we want to achieve part fan ownership this is not the way to go.

10 games. wasn´t that what Roy was saying we should judge him after? I honestly dont think I can handle another 2 games with old Royster in charge. As I´ve said in another thread, we lack pasion and cohesion in our play. Time to get while the gettings good I think. Even Souness wasn´t this bad. All the crap thats been spouted about how fast he won X number of victories in europe, compairing him with Shanks and Paisley. DO ME A BLOODY FAVOUR! What are these journos thinking about? This fella is average at his best, we need a figure of authority who comands respect, not some doddering, twitching senile old get.
A lot was made about him being english, and how fecking marvelous it was that we had an english manager. Nationality does not guarantee success. For the love of fowler, please Roy- jump before you´re pushed.

Brilliant  post and God I feel suicidal and pray to God Hodgson goes. :no :no :no :no

Thomas Werner this morning

He [Hodgson] needs to be given time. We have a lot of confidence in Roy. Nobody can be pleased about the start of the season but the club ought to gel. We had a nice chat with him yesterday and look forward to talking to him tomorrow."

Werner, who said the new owners would be meeting supporters' representatives tomorrow, added: "The one prescription for disaster is to lurch to the left and lurch to the right. We see no reason why Roy can't be our coach this year and in the future. We're certainly going to give him time.

"I don't want to make too many promises except that we expect the fortunes of the club to improve."

Asked if the owners would be providing Hodgson with "reasonable" funds, Werner said: "Yes, absolutely."

Does anyone have an email address for NESV, perhaps we can finish off our email campaigns for good with one final, decisive (not critical) blow.  We've fought so hard and the war is nearly won, cmon guys, lets get on this.  Please please please someone high up on RAWK start a new thread for this or keep it here.  Btw, I'm not saying I hate Roy or anything of the sort, I just want the best for LFC and Roy is not it and in the words of our former manager 'FACT.'

As Liverpool fans we expect a manager to look up to. We expect a leader... Not an utter stoater who will shirk responsibility and take out his own ineptitude on youth players/ senior players/ scandinavian reporters and previous managers.

We are one of the few clubs left in todays modern football world that place the manager above any star player. One of the few clubs that maintain a unique bond between manager and fans.

Gerrard, Carragher, Alonso, Kuyt, Masch etc... were all gifted players without a doubt, and are/ were rightly praised for there efforts and achievements. But it was the manager that provided them with that opportunity, realised their individual strengths and weaknesses, and gave them that role to excell in. Is there anybody in this forum who feels Roy Hodgson is capable of sculpting the same commitment and spark from the current squad? Maybe some feel he still needs time.

Should he get the chance to bring in his own names so he can provide a side with both the work ethic and the flair? Can he?

Can anybody honestly say that with Roy Hodgson captaining the ship they can foresee us turning over European giants a la Marseille, Madrid, Inter, AC, Barcelona, Chelsea, Juventus et al?

Or shall we just accept that our famous victories are now Trabsonspor in the UEFA Cup?
