Nice and polished. Henry is really trying to win over the fans, and videos like this one definitely help.

If you ask me, it already has been updated - probably an updated voice over. Note how they say "football" when talking about the events, while the video shows a "soccer" goal being scored. Nobody in North America, other than ex-pats and proper footy supporters, calls it football.

Not if it's a public video. Football means American Football or Gridiron anywhere in the US and Canada, unless you are talking to someone in context or are talking to someone who is non-english speaking. The fact that this is an official video on a public Major League Baseball website mentioning "football" instead of "soccer" to me is significant. It is intentional.

Agreed. But at least these guys have a track record of delivering upon promises made to fans. A simple google search of Hicks and Gillette would have told a completely different story than the one they were telling us in 2007.

The voiceover is done by the Sox' lead TV announcer, Don Orsillo. Since the Celtic/Sporting game (the footage of the goal being scored) only happened in July, I don't think they revised an older video. It was likely created for an international audience and using "football" made sense in that context.

Agreed. We say "soccer" in North America to avoid confusion with the erroneously named "football" which here is NFL.

"soccer's" proper name is football, or course.

Interesting video. One of their key businesses is a TV network that has the rights to the Red Sox games. The future for LFC is in growing the tv channel through exclusive rights to at least some of the matches. Its how Henry will make his fortune out of us
