Every comment I've from people who were there have said they were boss. That's one in the eye for the naysayers on this topic (yes, I'm looking at you VdM :D)

Some good vids of recent gigs appearing on youtube now. Reni looks like he's buzzing in this one!

My favourite from the criminally under-rated Second Coming. Shades of 'Whole Lotta Love' in Squire here:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/sES4OA8Gj4c?version=3&amp;amp;hl=en_GB" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/sES4OA8Gj4c?version=3&amp;amp;hl=en_GB</a>

And a bit of pure indulgence. Reni is possibly the coolest fucker ever to walk planet earth. And fly. I've no doubt he can fly as well.

The Roses are headlining T in the Park tomorrow, but there's no mention of them in the TV listings for BBC3, who seem to be showing everyone else. Anyone know what's going on?

I'll be honest part of the show left me bored and Browns singing at times was a complete joke, how can a man who's job has been a singer for the last thirty years be soo bad at it? If I wasn't smashed it would could have been worse, but as soon as the hits kicked "Made Of Stone" "She Bangs The Drums" "Resurrection" etc I realised why I was there, a total change in feeling for me and it was genuinely brilliant. Highlights were the aforementioned "Mersey Paradise and "Elizabeth My Dear"

You were smashed and you're complaining about the singing which you probably don't remember half of anyway! How the fuck could you be bored listening to that.
Brown's performance for me was way above my expectations. He was in great form throughout, the band tight as fuck and Love Spreads was amazing. Brilliant performane by them. Still buzzing. Dream fulfilled.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

Specifically "Fools Gold", felt like it went on for an hour. Reni was driving that show for large sections of the gig, what a brilliant drummer, its a disgrace he's been a house husband for the last 15 years!

If you want someone to sing note perfect go & see Mick Hucknall. Seriously, it's a matter of priorities.

They were fab Friday night at Heaton Park. I reckon Reni's a one in a million drummer, Fool's gold, one of may favourite sings of the last 25 years, is basically bobbins without his beats.

It's also a scientific fact that the big book of HOW TO PLAY GUITAR was written, edited & produced by John Squire. What that bloke doesn't know about the electric guitar isn't worth knowing.
