United pulling the commercial stops out now?  Think of what we'll be able to do soon, and we wont half half a billion quid's worth of debt weighing us down.  ;D

Nor will they if the partial floatation is a success.

Well United have set the bench mark, off you go Ayre and beat it!
Watch out, I'm an FSG mole. No really I am - they planned my existence on here over a year before they bought the club.

They should sell Old Trafford's naming rights. They've sold everything else.

don't they have their normal shirt sponser (Aon?) on their training kit at the moment? how does this affect their main sponsorship deal?

Incredible. Say what you want but the Glazer's have certainly improved the money coming into the club massively. That's 10% of our annual gross profit.

If you bring a pot of water to the boil, then stick a frog in it, the frog will jump straight back out. But if you put a frog in a pot of water, then bring it to the boil, the frog will happily stay in the pot until it dies. Interesting fact.

Not that hopeful of a United crash like ours now to be honest. Would love it to happen but doesn't seem likely at all. New commercial deal and 30% of shares to raise capital? I just can't see it.

Although RossiBianchi is a Manc isn't he? Why the polar difference between you two lads opinions?

Rosso is in a group  of fans which I respect, which is fighting to get Glazers out of the club. There is a lot of talk about how they're ruining United and how they're definitely going to destroy the club.

I personally don't think it's so black and white. I don't think they're completely bad, but United would be better off without them. However in my case I think it's better the devil you know, and would like someone like the Glazers who whilst putting limitations on us, still maintain a very very competitive squad with quite big spending, and this has continued this year.

Do you even know what gross profit means?

Struggle to see how this makes any sense to DHL at all?

This. I'm sorry but how does this further advertise DHL? A few shots in the paper occassionally, a few glimpses before kick-off? And like others have mentioned, I'm sure Aon can't be too happy about this

 ;D

It's true though. As long as they win trophies and are competing, do you think the vast majority of their fanbase give a shit about their debt now that they are 'Champ19ns'  ::) Cos that extra league title is worth about £500 million don't you know? Fans like Rossi are long-term thinkers and there ain't many of them about around the Theatre of Cheats. Personally, I think lord drunkard will keep them ticking along and some multi-billionaire will save their wretched club.

Fucking insane.

What you are essentially saying is that United would be better off without the Glazers, but because they continue to give you a 'competitive squad' you are acceptant of their continue presence and thus damage to your football club, in favour of short term success.

I hate modern football and I hate modern fans, and I am 19.
Any chance we can rewind and pause, this sport makes me feel sick at times.
I got the Lucas thing wrong. Will be right on Henderson though. Play him RM, play him CM - Not good enough and never will be.
