Yes I noticed that but this bit I dont agree with will always support the position of Liverpool manager. unless it was said toungue in cheek.

I think that bit was put in to tell people that even though the manager may be a tit...he's our tit...for now.

Last time we did a sit in we had maybe 600 or so. There's the bar.

Next week with Blackpool and the march we have had maybe 5000 at the best we have done. Again another test of feeling for our support.

Shows the difficulty in organising a meaningful boycott etc

it would be class if someone could pass this to roy at the game.well written and not offensive just stating facts. his comments were unwelcome at best. good luck with the protest all, hope it gets some good coverage. well done sos.

i agree, in ireland it goes he might be a fecking eegit, but he's our eegit.

This.

I'll be in The Bot in Belfast with my Standards Corrupted shirt tho. My first game there in ages. Did have a bit of a reputation in the past for being a bit of a Liverpool bar but dunno how much that's the case now. With it being a 3pm kick off (how novel an idea having a game at 3pm on a saturday, pat on the back to whoever came up with the idea), there will be other games on but I'll do my best to educate whoever will listen to me.

In regards to next week. Is there also going to be in-game protests or a sit in? I'm not paying for a ticket if there isnt

Sorry if this has been covered before but does anyone know what songs we're planning to sing during the protest tomorrow? I know at previous after match protests it's mainly been "They don't care about Rafa / fans, LFC is in the wrong hands" and "Yanks Out Now!" but obviously the Rafa one can't be sung this time (unless the words are changed). Are there any others in mind?

Also is the protest going to be at the back of the stand as usual or near the front like I heard someone saying the other day? Personally I think the front will be a better idea.

I won't be able to make the meeting tomorrow (child care commitments) but will be there at the protest until the very end.

SOS have asked for people to go to the front of each stand. As for songs, i've heard a variation of the Rafa one, 'they only care about money, they don't care about fans...'

Will find out when it happens tomorrow though.

Think it's been about 30-45 mins in the past from what I remember but we should be looking to smash that record this time.

If we all stick together then there's no reason why we can't make it a couple of hours. The longer the better.

Plus the Cancer's Police / Stewards fees will increase then aswell!

Good luck tomorrow. You "group of people" or "sons of strikers" care infinitely more about this club than the morons who give you these labels.

Would like to see a shift in focus towards RBS soon though as I've a feeling they'll peddle their usual excuses and extend the refinancing arrangement so they can pillage our profits for a bit longer.

Why wouldn't SOS support the position of the manager, same goes to any supporter as well? It goes hand in hand with wanting the owners out. Surely it's in the best interest of everybody involved with this club that the manager, whoever it is, gets the necessary support and resources to do his job with little or no restraints and to be as successful as possible.

Regardless of your opinion of Hodgson, Benitez, Paisley, Dalglish, Shankly or whoever the manager is.

The planned sit in protest after the game has been reported on BBC breakfast TV this morning.  I hope theres no need to leave my seat as i hope theres 1000's staying behind for at least 10 to 15 minutes, thats all it needs to make the point.

I agree but like I said, at the back end of last season, I suggested we show more support for Benitez but I was told that supporting the manager was not their role to do so.

I'm certain they regret that now.

Some people need to grasp that this is about LFC not Roy or Rafa.

Much prior to Rafael's departure.

Liverpool FC as a football club is faltering fast. Having Roy as manager has added to the decline.

You read my post as a Rafa vs Roy, when really it's more on how SOS didn't act on something attributable to our rapid demise this season.

Tomorrow should be a game where we are looking to get back on track on the pitch. Instead, we will be fighting for our Club, to get it back on track in the boardroom. We, as supporters, have a duty to protect the future of our Football Club. Tomorrow is the continuance of a campaign to fulfil that duty. During, and after the Sunderland game we will protest.

Today we have seen and heard what the manager has had to say about protests. Our message remains as clear as ever - we will do what we feel is necessary. As supporters we don't want to be protesting. We want to be talking football not finance, we want to be talking left backs not leveraged buyouts.

Instead, circumstances dictate that we must do all of this - the protesting, the campaigning, the pushing to have new owners. Over three years ago, this "group of people" were watching new signings such as Torres and Mascherano, looking forward to a 'spade in the ground' in 60 days that would see us with a brand new stadium, competing with the best in the world, and built in time for Jamie Carragher's testimonial.

This "group of people" has over 50,000 people supporting what it is trying to achieve, with countless more supporting the campaign for new owners. We are very much anti owner for one clear and unequivocal reason - they have lied.

This "group of people" will protest and will continue to protest, because we have a bond, an unbreakable one with our Football Club. We can't just walk away. This Football Club is part of who we are, it's part of who our parents and grandparents are and were, and it's part of who our children will be. It's an emotional attachment that cannot be ridden roughshod over by businessmen in the pursuit of greed rather than glory. It's an emotional attachment that means we will do whatever it takes, regardless of whether it makes things more difficult or not, to save our Football Club.

This "group of people" will always support the position of Liverpool manager. We will continue to demand that the resources of the Football Club are directed towards assisting him in his job rather than being squandered on servicing unsustainable and unnecessary levels of debt.

The protests will continue. To those who say it affects the team performance, our argument is simple and honest - massive debts, crippling interest repayments and lying owners are what is affecting the team. If you don't believe us, read the accounts. Or ask the players who have recently spoken of the need for new owners. Or better still, ask Roy Hodgson.

It's our duty, our responsibility, and our desire to bring about change at our Football Club. To rid it of men with no honesty, no integrity and no concern for the Club's future. Tomorrow, we will carry out that duty.

Tom and George: Not Welcome Here

Excellent.

Hicks and Gillett, carpetbagging liars, GET OUT of OUR CLUB.
