Bloody hell, I can't keep up with these! Much better than the < 12 hours notice for B'ham going on sale on Fri, thou. Just surprised they have put them on sale so far ahead - the match is 4 weeks away.

Do you reckon they are playing games with us to test loyalty? These games plus the short notice even for home games is a pain in the arse getting everyone to get their cash in on time

I'd yes to that, but doubt the TO are that organised or Machiavellian! If it's to ensure that the TO staff at Anfield are kept busy - by more than one game being on sale at once - then I'd go for that, hope they stay there.

I hadn't given people's fan cards back from getting B'ham - might as well keep hold of them now for Tues!

Straight through online, all done in less than 2mins.  And they had the less expensive tickets online as well!!

Worth the extra £1.60 booking fee (and lack of a large telephone bill) & without all the hassle of constantly hearing "All our operators are busy!!"

I think having away tickets online is finally a good idea by the ticket office!!

rang up - went through the whole of 'fields of Anfield Rd twice and only moved up from 30 to 18 in the queue - went online - done and dusted in less than 2 mins

Not happy about an extra 3.20 but it has certainly cut out the hassle and saved my phone bill this morning

then again if I'd waited a couple of hrs I'd probably have got straight through on the phones!

I've already bought my ticket, but it allowed me to put a 2nd in my basket & go to checkout, but it didn't say it was sold out.

I'd try again now.

Is it like home games where they only put so many online? Not bought away ones online (yet).

It looks that way, they only had the £42 tickets onsale online for Man Utd & upper tier tickets only for Man City.  I don't know what the % split is between the ticket office & online.  The booking fee is £1.60 more online, but it's a lot easier for me to go online whilst at work rather than spending 10-15mins on the telephone.  I'll wait and see what it's like to buy an Everton ticket online, as I like to go in the Paddock at Goodison.

Certainly with Birmingham they've only put one block online and I got a different one on the phone.

Looks like far more choice of Man Utd tickets online now, four different blocks I think.

Any chance there'll be any spares for this on the ticket exchange on here? I'd hate to break my 100% match attendance a month into the season ;D

Mods: Please note this IS NOT a request for a ticket. Merely seeing if United / Everton tickets ever get exchanged on here.

I was looking for trains to it but nothing's coming up no matter how I try. Perhaps, it is shut at the moment. Just going to take a tram from Piccadilly.

It won't come up, as it's not actually a station but just really a platform which is used on matchdays.

Special trains run from Manchester Piccadilly and Oxford Road and back, about four times each way - pre and post match. I'm sure you can only buy a ticket from Manchester and it's something daft like £3.50 return. But to be honest, there's no proper checks anywhere. You go through an old turnstile at the station at the ground but they don't bother checking. Just flash your Liverpool to Manc ticket.
