It was two weeks ago to the day the club announced several proposals were received.

Do you believe the club received them directly and sat on them for 14 days, or is it reasonable to suggest these 2 weeks have been consumed by BarCap, the investment bank appointed to advise the club on the sales process, to verify their authenticity.

I don't know for sure myself, but which scenario sounds more plausible here? The board sitting on proposals for 2 weeks or that time being used constructively by BarCap for investigation and validation?

I'm not sure what your point is.  I'm not suggesting that verification isn't going on, or that the period hasn't been used constructively.  I'm simply saying that there's nothing particularly heartening or disheartening in this statement.

Exactly. I am quietly confident. Will be buying some champagne and putting it in the fridge today. I can wait till the end of the season as long as we get new owners who keep the club healthy and financially stable. Also, hope the Yanks make a loss out of selling the club.

1. We have received several bids, but they are not satisfactory and we are continuing the process ...
2. We need to get additional information and guarantees about the submitted bids, in order to evaluate them properly ...
3. We have been contacted by another interested party, and we are giving them additional time to submit a formal bid ...

That there is evidence of progression, however tentative it seems at this point. You mentioned some arguing for evidence of progression in your last post.

I used the 2 week period as that's roughly how long it's been since any sort of on the record announcements.

The board of mods have revieved a number of posts from a few pedantic twats on here.

The mods will continue to act in the best interests of RAWK and try to deal objectively and not too patronisingly with any jumped up fucker who would start an argument in an empty room.

The talking shite and spectacularly missing the fucking point thread will continue, but how long for remains uncertain. In the meantime, rather than find out where the odd nobhead lives, going round their gaff and hitting them over the fucking head with a 4 x 2 with rusty nails in it, the mods reserve the right to smash them with the ban button.

I definitely agree with your sentiment, but it's not exactly true that it can take as long as it needs to.  There is massive time pressure, and massive financial incentive to sort it out fairly quickly.

This has been a several month long process under Broughton, and the invitation for investment has been around for even longer now, all for a not particularly large asset as things go.  Hopefully we'll see substantive movement fairly quickly.
