end of the season we'll see him... maybe last 2-3 home games... id love it now if im honest... and even Morgan could be worth a shout!
No, Morgan's nowhere near ready.
I wouldn't expect him to get any minutes this season. Probably with the squad next pre-season and in 12/13 some cup & league games. And obviously CL games. Is there a single 94-born player in the prem who's actually gotten game time?
Ones played against us Adam Henley
Getting a bit worried about him now, he's yet to make a mark on the first team. Shades of Pacheco about him, if he's not starting soon, his development will stall and he'll end up in League 2.
This is a Liverpool forum. We are not talking about Demba Ba's cock.
Haven't you already tried this bait?
Lennon sticks to the sidelines too much, Raheem cuts inside and uses his trickery far more often.
Now that our chances of 4th are well and truly over, we really should be seeing Sterling on the bench. We've secured Europa League footie for next season, so let's use this as a chance to blood the brightest prospect we've had since Gerrard. A few appearances off the bench and he may be ready to play a part in the Europa next season.
Shelvey doesn't get games, no way Raheem will.
You know what, I'm writing this here now and I'm going to put it in my signature and leave it there for the next 5 years, no matter how embarrassing it might or might not turn out to be: Jordan Henderson is going to be a fantastic player.
Am I wrong in saying that he was warming up with the first team squad today!? Looked like him on lfc tv build up.
Good a time as any to give the youngsters experience.Pair Coates with Skrtel while Agger's out, Carra can play the cup games. Sterling should be on the bench from here on out. Shelvey should start. He's at least as good as Adam imo and getting better. At least give them the chance to show that we don't need to spend too much money in the summer. We have some of the brightest prospects in a long time, and they need the experience or they'll never break through.
Thats the way it is.....they`re like puppies salivating at the slightest sight of a teet , a whirlwind of tiny teeth and expectation.
I don't know how comfortable I'd be with bringing him into the set up right now. He's still really young and there's already a decent amount of expectation from the supporters on him. With the way the team is playing and the struggles we're having I think it's best he's not involved. My hope is that in the next couple of seasons if we improve that he can be introduced with little expectation on him and just let him enjoy is football and not worry about producing right away.
Possibly. But Anfield has hardly seen a victory this season. Everyone's expectations have come down. I think there'd be a lot of goodwill for the lad, even if things didn't come off for him immediately.
If Harry can get Spurs to the CL 1/4 final then he could get England to the World Cup final.
No harm putting him on the bench when our subs are only coming on to play 5 minutes at the most and we don't even use all three we have available.
Shame someone can't express a different point of view without the howling mob needing to persecute the guy, forums are meant to have differents points of view, not some party line ! Deal with it.
If showing respect to the 96 and other victims of Hillsborough on the 15th is seen as unacceptable by other teams fans then I am glad I support Liverpool and understand some things are more important than football
Yeah seen him passing it long to Shelvey and vice versa, good to see him in and amongst the first team squad, he probs saw Oxlade-Chamberlain today and thought that'll be me in 2/3 years
I asked the lad next to me if Sterling was on the bench and he asked 'who's Sterling'!
I don't think he works as hard as some people claim. No harder, for example, than Stewart Downing.
Plus there's the size difference, i haven't watched Sterling that much this season but can anyone tell me if he's easily knocked off the ball? Looking at him he looks like a heavy breeze would send him down at the moment, but he has time to grow which means it isn't a big issue.
If Oxlade-Chamberlain can play for Arsenal why cant Sterling play for us ?
