Seriously though, if this comes through, this will be better than being bought by the Queen.  There'll be no more of the incessant we're not rich enough moaning. 

Our mistake was that we were only looking at wealthy individuals to buy us and forgot there are giant funds out there with billions more than any one individual.  e.g.  Bill Gates is "only" worth US$53 billion.

We should actually be a good investment, given our global brand recognition and positive image.  If we can get a first-class stadium built and a redeveloped district, we stand an excellent chance of becoming profitable.

It's an unbelievable prospect, although it demonstrates just how much football has moved on in the past 10-20 years. It's a hard one, I want us to remain as competitive as possible but yet I still resent the sheer amount of money that's in the game these days. Guess we've just got to bite the bullet, it's never going to be the way it was. Frankly the immediate priority right now has to be to simply remove those two clowns at the helm of the club. With regards to the SOS and ShareLFC, this potential takeover would surely rule out any future supporter ownership?

One thing we all will have had is a crash course in modern football economics, so at the very least we retain the the title of the "Most Knowlegable Supporters in Football". Not only do we fully appreciate tatics but we can double up as consultants in hostile take over or leverage buyout of sporting institutions.

This could well turn out to be a far superior offering to that what was originally offered by DIC - in every single way. China will become the new Superpower in the 21st century. There is alot wrong with walmart, from how they treat workers to using child labour. There books on the subject, and I'm sure there is tons on the internet. However, if we're in bed with China anyway, it doesn't make much difference.
