Football Shirt Help
« on: August 1, 2010, 12:19:36 AM »

Anyone know the cheapest place I can get this shirt for?

Checked JJB and they had it for £15 but it was sold out!

Only places I've found it for under £30 is on Thai fake footy shirt websites.

Any help?

Who cares if it's fake though? Better than money going to anyone affiliated with the club

I have that shirt, it's very nice. Doubt you'd want to come to Singapore to get it though.

You ever worn a fake shirt or even played footy in one? The material is horrible on your skin and when running around it's liking playing in a bin bag.

I want the long sleeve version, not the short sleeve, as much as I appreciate people looking for shirts me (thank you), only long sleeves if you're gonna go to the effort.

I take it you've never bought a shirt off bornprosper.com/starsport4u.com (same company) then? You would think they were fakes because of the ridiculously cheap price. But they are bang on. Exactly the same material and detail. You WILL NOT be dissapointed by the shirts off there. Trust me. :)

Trust me, they're fakes, it's too good to be true because it's too good to be true. They come with Adidas tags but no tracking information like all genuine Adidas products have. Plus if you haven't realisd through the products they're fake, they're based in Thailain, the world capital of all things fake.

So just to clairfy Born Prosper sells fakes, very good ones, but fakes all the same.

I play footy in my Bornprosper/bestway4you shirts quite regulary, and never have i had a problem with any discomfort :/ Only thing i can say bad about them is that the sizing for the shirts doesn't always seem to be the same

I wear bornprosper shirts for footy 2 maybe 3 times a week and the material is no different to the official ones and doesn't feel any different.

They may well be fakes, but that is irrelevant because the reason you said you didn't like fakes, was because the material was not the same. Well, these ones are, fakes or no fakes.

And fakes don't give twat 1 and twat 2 any money. :)

I saw quite a few at the JJB in Aintree last Wednesday pal, some long sleeves there as well. Can't promise anything but might be worth a look if you're local?

Can deffo back up what people are saying about bornprosper/starsport4u; have ordered a few times and they have been quality for the price. I normally go into sports direct and compare the shirts and can never spot any major differences, it's always something really minor such as the tag on the inside of the shirt or writing on the inside of the collar.

I play footy in them often and never had a problem, although i got a real madrid away kit from sports direct a while ago that rubs my armpits and leaves me with 2 massive red marks at the end of a game.

Bornprosper takes 2-3 weeks but i've never had a bad one from there yet.

I'd say China is the fake capital of the world. Fake cancer drugs, fake eggs.....

Anyway, the Thai releases are in fact extra runs from the factory.

They are usually hurried on the production line and don't come under the same scrutiny of quality control as the ones packaged and sent out to Adidas etc.
It's corruption and it's been going on for years.

The 'fakes' are then sold off to back street vendors etc (as they aren't allowed to be shown in main tourist areas in Bangkok because they want it to look like they are cracking down on counterfeiting - but paradoxically DVDs and fake rolex watches and the like continue to be for sale on the street).

I know this because my mate used to buy boxes of them there and sell them. I have a few myself and they are the same as the originals.

Now I can't comment on the shirts for sale at the website listed above.....
