Blackpool did wonders for Shelvey, let's hope playing regular football does wonders for Wilson too.

I'm glad it's to a championship team chasing promotion at least, as I didn't want him going back to Rangers. No offence to the SPL like but I can't see what he could have learned new from another 6 months up there. So yeah Danny, go for it.

Good news for him, hope he can get games then come back here next season and push for more games, though realistically, if Agger & Srktel stay fit, he will find it very hard as he will usually be behind Coates in the pecking order

Definitely. He should have gone on loan at the beginning of the season. He needs games and this is a great opportunity for him

Dalglish did mention we were trying to do that in the summer but for whatever reason it didn't work out.

Long overdue this. The lad needs to go and play some games and get sharp again. He was a really bright prospect 2 years ago playing CL football at 18.

He is still very very young for a centre half and could still come though. He won't do it playing reserve team football though.

seriously? player who is very young and already national, who can play in better PL teams if he manages to get more time?

I think we sended him on loan to Blackpool not becouse other, better teams were not interested in signing him premanently, but becouse we want to get him playing time before we deciede on his future..that is we want to get him develop in to the CB we need..

Seriously guys, stop placing Kelly on CB even if he is a RB and could be our first choice RB for next decade or more....

our CB after Carra retires - first choice Agger - Skrtel,
secoond choice - Coates - Wilson

that´s 4 CB´s, ideal number for a club who see itself in CL in near future.

Only just saw he has been loaned up, finally. Lets hope he gets some games and doesn't sit around doing nothing. Hes got a fair bit of potential. Did well in the first team games he got.

Will be an important season for Danny IMO, he came here with the tag of a potentially world class player but seems to have fell quite hard.

Kenny seemed to rate him but then loaned him out so it'll be interesting to see if Rodgers will give him a chance this season and make him 4th choice behind Coates yet infront of Carragher.

Needs to be either given games or loaned to a lower-Prem team. He can't spend another year doing fuck all. He's a decent enough player, and we'll make our money back on him if we let him develop.

The purchase of Coates kinda threw a spanner in the works though, slightly older and better developed, and limited his game time with Carra thrown in there as well.

He and Wisdom should go out on loan this year.

Seems to be a little lacking physically IMO but this fresh start could be just what he needs.
Still very young and has obvious talent.
If Brendan can get his confidence up and make him believe he is good enough then we could still have a class player here.
Be interesting to see what role he gets in pre-season

He needs to get himself incredibly fit and play games. He is unlikely to get game time for us this year so he needs to get himself out on loan. Swansea have just lost Caulker so maybe BR can get him down there.
