I could get on board with the 'Stop Think Fight' in the sponsors place, I do think Standards Compromised is best though, if there are no legal issues with it. Thing is we know it's getting at the yanks and not the sponsor per sé but the sponsor wont know that.

Fuck the sponsor mate... I think they already know. We're battering them with mail and emails. It's already drawing responses... apparently they are "Concerned." I want to see that changed to Panicking and Shiting Bricks.

I mean if you're a fan of Liverpool opposition fans are going to call you scousers anyway so can't see a problem there, but still think black is the way to go FS, it's not about it looking good or slimming (although that is a bonus... perhaps not for you, might have to change your username to 'moderately overweight scouser' which doesn't quite have the same ring to it) it's about maximum exposure and visual impact. I think it has to be black, the mourning reference is an extremely potent symbol as well.

If it's red then it will just blend in. If it's a good quality and a smart shirt people will wear it when they're gone anyway to show they supported the campaign.

Hi all - very long time lurker (since way before I registered), been a passionate red since watching Phil Neal put away that penno all them years back.

Had wanted to save my first post for something epic, like something E2K, HBHR or FS would put together (I know there's plenty of other good posters out there so apologies for those excluded).  That can wait for another day.

Fantastic effort with all that's being done, makes me feel quite insignificant really.

Just wanted to say went for Black - home end in the Kop, the media will expect a sea of Red.

HAS to be Standards Compromised in my opinion.  The truth is that ourselves, our club and Standard Chartered have had their high standards compromised so it works for them as well.  They seem a good sponsor for us now and will be in the future, just unfortunate for them to be "associated" with our current custodians.

I'll go and be quiet again..............

That style is pretty much available already, tho without the sponsor. An actual replica style is needed to cause waves, and appease those missing out on the official shirts. Tho if you want a shirt like the one in the picture quoted FS, give us a shout - the guy who is making my screens for the SAVELFC shirts could easily do that as a one off.

Why not use the Save LFC tees for this purpose too, or a variation with SOS? It's red but with a very distinctive design on the front, more likely to get noticed en masse?

Anyway all great stuff going on, will add my vote.

Was also thinking that car stickers would be a good idea and something else for reds all over to express their feelings. I came out of work today and saw my LFC sticker on window and wished it said something other than just that I am a supporter (some of you may say it's sad to have on car but each to their own).

1. Who gives a fuck if they compare us to the Mancs, if they do that it's accomplished its goal...publicity.

2. It's completely different to the Mancs anyway, it's simply providing an alternative footy shirt to the new standard chartered one so we can affect a proper boycott of merchandise.

3. If they're red they will be missed.

The reason I chose black is because it is visually different to our red Kit and thus would make more of a visual statement, like the mancs and their yellow/green scarves.
