So I've just signed up for a half marathon in September. Eeek!22 weeks to get my lardy arse into shape. Never run further than about 6 miles in my life. Going to have to follow a training plan religiously.

1) Down to 13.5st now2) I think I've achieved this so far! After missing a quite few through illness & injury!3) I'm nearly breaking 29mins now!!! Now to you racers & seasoned runners this is not much I know, but to me this is a real achievement, which I'm pretty made up about!!! 4) As per the post above ^^ I need to fix the bloody thing first1!5) Still play off 19 & getting soooooo frustrated with my game, I'm probably gonna knock it on the head??? So 3 out of 5 is not too bad so far & I've got a real sense of achievement as regards my running!!!
Wow.. I had to come in here & put this up..... I ran my 4 miles in.... 28:29mins.... Now to you runners & racers this is nothing but to me, it's awesome!!! I didn't think I'd be able to break 30mins when I started & now I've done it in 28:29.. My first mile was in 7:38 as I never do a warm up then I ran the next 3miles in 7:02, 7:03 & 6:58... so that's a sub 7min mile!!! another brilliant goal achieved!! For me anyways!! One day I will do a warm up first & see what happens?? Anyway just thought I'd share my REAL sense of achievement!!!
