Brian Reade just said that Pepe gave Nando the scarf.  He had it in his bag.

I actually think id let Pepe have a go at all the women in my family at the same time.

Just when you think he cant do much more to show his loyalty, he goes that one bit further.

I think that's probably the most moronic argument that I've ever seen on this site and believe me, there's a fucking lot of competition for that particular title.

It's his abductor muscle.  Where ever that is.  You'll have to forgive Trada, he has a habit of missing out the important things at times ;)

*off to google.

Hmmm Pepe gave him the scarf. Still Nando wearing it to be photographed says lots to me.

He is wearing now an Atlético de Madrid flag and put an Atletico number 9 shirt on the side of the bus... does it mean he is returning? :P
was he really wearing an atletico flag?

Scarf my arse, we're selling him whether he likes it or not and the same goes for SG. We've already gotten rid of Yossi, next it will be Masch, Reina, Kuyt and Agger. I even expect George Sephton and Brian Hall to be sold off as well.

Get your heads out of the sand, we're selling every fucking one I tells ya, Everyone!

Can we sell you?   ;)

Yes he was:

Now he has an Atleti scarf on his arm and not the flag. People throw things to players and they take them. He even had a small Atleti shirt that put on the right side of the bus.

As Torres is slightly injured, could we sell our stadium designs to Chelsea instead for 55m, with the right marketing, gift boxed etc

Great that. Glad to have players like Torres and Pepe here.

the bottom line is we can only guess if stevie or nando are staying, nothing means anything until they say it themselves.
i don't think his donning of an LFC scarf tells us anything we didn't know already; that he loves liverpool.
lets hope roy can say and do the right things to persuade them to stay... meantime, hearing about purslow giving clubs guide prices on stevie (60mill was the price quoted to real i think) before roy even got appointed is depressing stuff, though hardly surprising. god help us. :-[

it is a sad state of affairs if they only stay because of the fact that other clubs can't afford to stump up the cash but obviously i think everyone on here will happily take that!

Every time I see it it gives me goosebumps. A ray of light in a dark place.

I don't know how anyone can say we should sell him, we need good loyal players that care about the team and he seems to be one of them.

From here on in its all FSG's doing. Good or bad they will stand or fall by the decisions they have made in the summer of 2012. Lets hope they have gotten it right.

Torres is a legend wearing that scarf but instead of giving us a subliminal message about staying, he could easily just come out and say it (preferably while still wearing the scarf).

I sincerely hope that Nando's shown his true colors and will be staying, but until the transfer window closes I won't be able to rest easy.  For many reasons I still fear that the ownership situation could drive Torres away and I also don't totally trust words of players following historic victories...if I my memory is not totally gone, I believe that following that wonderful night in Istanbul Stevie G said something along the lines of "how can I leave after a night like this" when asked if he was staying at Liverpool...a summer of agony followed.

Fingers crossed Torres is around to score 30 in red this coming season...

He has to stay. Losing him wont be just us losing one of the best players in the world - it's the message it would send.

With Nando there is always hope.

You've hit the nail on the head (the message it would send). It be a bloody disaster. Nando is virtually the last hope we have of attracting world class players. Stevie G is 30 now. Him leaving would be hard to take, but I thought that bout Owen & got to terms about that by xmas. Maybe because both had & have been with us for a while. But Nando leaving, fuck me, ill be in mourning for years. We haven't seen the best of him yet. Add a litle bit more physical strength to his game, fully fit and he'll be on same par as Rushy, dare i say it, even better if he sticks around. (He will, have faith, think positive)
Wrong on two counts. He didn't give himself a ten match ban. And this thread is about calculating the ban not about selling Suarez. In the spirit of your post I'm giving you a ten day ban for detailing the thread. It's completely out of proportion but you did it to yourself. I take it you won't be asking for it to be reduced.

So happy for him that he's won the World Cup, although I think we would have all liked to see him on form and scoring goals for Spain.

I also hope that his injury is only minor, if he has a season at full fitness he could easily surpass his 07-08 campaign which was awesome, this new medical team best be up to scratch.

Does anyone think that it might be an idea to give Nando a month off after his injury has healed just to rest himself? By my reckoning he hasn't had a proper break since Summer 2007. And in that period he has pretty much played in every game that he was even half fit for. Don't know how it would go down with him though, footballers always want to play. Only risk is that it ends up like Garcia, he goes back to Spain and chills out with his child and missus and then decides he doesn't want to come back (does anyone know if his family has moved over to Liverpool full time?)

From what I know... and I don't know much, him and his missus both live in Liverpool. Though since their both Spanish I'm sure they'll spend the holiday in Spain.
