I admire your loyalty mate, but let's not adhere to blind faith. Tonight has topped off a diabolical season, the manager, players and owners have a lot to answer for. Four seasons without a trophy at this football club is not acceptable.

We've gone longer than 4 seasons without a trophy before.  It's been a shite season, no doubt.  But that doesn't mean we can't have a good year next year.

Rafa has made mistakes this year, players have been below par this year, and we've had fuck all luck this year as well.  Bad years happen.  Roll on next year, and let's see what happens.

4 European semi finals since Rafa took over, how many were we win between when the ban was lifted and 2005? One if I recall. we have become spoiled.
Some "supporters" don't deserve Rafa but I know I do. I have stuck by him since day 1 and don't plan on doing anything different today. I presume you're addressing me? I feel that we accepted a battle for fourth place this season well too early, when in fact we should have simply been looking to finish as high as possible "The Liverpool Way". I think Mourinho would have got more out of those players this season but there you go, fair enough if you don't agree. David Moyes has had similar injury problems to those Benitez has had to deal with this year and considerably less quality players at his disposal yet they still sit just five points away from us. And yes I do think Mourinho is a more positive coach, how on earth do you think that by him throwing Robert Huth upfront in a European cup semi final demonstrates that Rafa must be a more forward thinking coach is beyond me??? If anything it's an example of the man's sheer desire to win at all costs, something which I wish we'd adopted a bit more at times this season. Yeah, I'm sucking the lifeblood from the club... alright then. I'm well aware of that, and if Rafa stays I hope to be proven wrong. No-one wants the guy to shut moaners like me up more than myself onest to god. What is another year at this point?  A chance for Rafa to have some proper backing with new owners...if it gets even worse next year (which I doubt) with all the cards dealt to Rafa, we can think about a change.  Let's see where we are at with all the pieces for the puzzle on the table.

I love Rafa. If he goes at the end of the season it'll be a disaster. Mid table mediocrity and losing 3-0 away to PSG here we come.

As sad as it is to say I'd agree given our handicap compared to the others. I also couldn't see the progression of the club in other regards such as the youth setup, scouting and aquisitions and improvements such as the new head of sports medicine we are getting continuing either.

Maybe, just maybe, it will be one step forward in the short run but I'm confident it will be two steps backwards in the long run.

We all want a bit of stability off the pitch, some new owners and a clean slate so we can get on with being a football club and football supporters, not a trainwreck and accountants.

Some people can cry all they want about this season, won't change a thing. We've actually done pretty well for ourselves over the last few years. No, we might not have won anything in the last 4, but we've been to a final, semi's and run the league close. But we've had a toss year, started badly and it's gotten progressively worse as things have gone on.

We need our ship to start sailing straight on calm seas. I don't think we can take much more of the utter nonsense that's been going on off the pitch and to be honest i'm surprised that this season hasn't come earlier in the yanks reign.  I'm proud to have Rafa as our manager in spite of his faults and i'm proud of all the players despite some of them having woeful years, they're still our players.

We've all got our faults, none of us are perfect (well all except me me ) and it's been an imperfect season. Let's draw a line under it and look forward rather than just lashing out at each other like we all have over the whole season.
