Thought that was pretty weak myself, I have to say.
There's a way to do those product placements and I don't think it worked. (My favourite one of those is in 30 Rock when Liz/Tina breaks the fourth wall and says to camera 'Can we have our money now, please?')
It tried to be knowing and self-referential about the placement, but at the umpteenth appearance of the Subway logo, I had tuned out.
The guy from Scrubs playing 'Subway' was good, but when Pierce has all the best lines you know something is up.
Oh, and the Jeff and Annie b-plot was lame, and there wasn't enough of John Goodman. Especially given he was wearing the evil goatee.
