Well, this is not a question for that thread but ....

I´m going to buy european shirt 2001-03. I´m a XL buyer on Adidas shirts, ¿is that shirt 46"/48" like the adidas XL?

Sorry for my english. Thanks in advance.

Whether reebok or adidas, I think xl is 44-46, xxl is 46-48...

I know it's too much to ask, but I hate the way the adidas shirts always have to have the 3 white stripes on the sleeves. Always reminds me of Bayern or summat.
You can never top the old classic late 70s top, simple and iconic.

Don't wanna be a killjoy here but I can't get my head round why anyone over the age of about 16 would want to wear a replica football shirt. It's got to be the most uncool thing ever ...Sorry.

I mean I am interested to see what we will be wearing next year, but surely it should be left to the kids to copy what their heroes wear.

Couldn't agree more Lad. Wearing one to the match is bad enough, especially if you live in pubs but when you see people down the supermarket and not even on match day, pathetic. Plus they are not exactly BO friendly worn under a winter coat:-( I know loads of people will disagree but I've always thought it looksed incredibly naff. Fair enough buy the ones you particularly like and frame them like they do in bars but anyone who isn't toned up, like most regular atheletes are, looks a joke. Be interesting to know how many (usually wives/girlfriends) are cringing walking around town with their menfolk wearing footy shirts but dearn't tell them:-)

every now and then the mrs casually rips me about wearing colours. usually only wear them in the house during games.

I'm 35 and slim but by no means toned.

said a couple of years ago I'd stop buying kits (prefering to buy my little boy his kits instead) but then discovered JJ. couldn't really argue with £8 a shirt and knowing that not a penny goes to the Yanks (not looking to get into a debate about foreign sweatshops etc, been done loads on here already).

so here I am, 36 next month and if I like next yr's shirts I'll buy em and wear em regardless of what the mrs says. my boy is only 2 and a bit so its an important time in terms of getting him into and learning about my love for LFC and hope that he follows in my footsteps as far as football allegiances go.

the coolest things I've taught him to say so far are 'Rafa', 'El Nino' and 'Mascher'.
Has Steven Gerrard scored a goal even more important than the one he got against Olympiakos - Is this the start of something BIG?

Usually only wear a shirt if I'm going to play footy, if I'm just lazin about the house on a match day, or if I'm going the match other than that, never wear them.

Who gives a shit if its 'cool' or not.

If you want a game of footy with your mates most wear a footy shirt just cause there easy to wash and comfy to wear.

And also easier to organise teams if you all wear one colour.

I never have and never will understand why grown men of all shapes and sizes wear replica shirts to the match, or worse to watch the game in the pub and the only thing I've got missing upstairs is my hair mate.

I do find generally that it is people from outside of Liverpool who are mostly guilty of this. The liverworld visitors. Most Scousers don't wear colours to the match. (I did say most and not all before some disgruntled locals have a go at me).

No one is having a go - but the debate about "people from outside of the city are the ones who buy a shirt" is evidently not true.

Take a walk round Anfield or town on any day and I guarantee you'll see a load of colours.

There are groups of lads I go the game with who wouldn't dream of wearing colours to a game. There are others who wouldn't dream of wearing anything but.

Personal choice, but please keep your tired old clichés about OOTers (who all come to the game to purchase fifteen bags worth of stuff from Liverworld) and locals to yourself 'Lad'

Why do people spend so much time and effort making kits that they think we should have?

and why are the kits posted in this thread, which is about the actual kits, not some designers fantasy?

the kit is out on 8th april. why not just wait?

I like the first one, other 2 look awful. Looks like Blackburn and a strip Juve have.
You have posted literally nothing of substance to flame about.  Your "points", and I dread to call them that, were superficial and completely arbitrary.  Nothing you said could be argued against because nothing you said elaborated a position of any kind.
