Seeing as it's been a sight a lot of people in this thread have seen over the last year I thought it appropriate that the open of the 100th page, it's magnificent century, be honour with this man raising his bat to mark the achievement.

Welshie, I did toy with the idea of having Zaheer in the team at the expense of Sachin.

Having seen Ponting's innings yesdterday, I have no qualms about having him in the team whatsoever, but decided that Rampaul's recent-ish form was good enough to merit a place.

I did actually consider AB de V to come in as a 'keeper batsman, but Sanga's stats are difficult to ignore.

If it doesn't rain it's going to be very tricky batting. I hope VVS brought enough jumpers.

Just checked weather.com and it says 70% chance of rain till 2 o clock.

Knowing India's luck, it won't rain. It will be heavy overcast and the ball will out swing like Shane Warne bowling with pace.

To be honest that's how I feel it might pan out. The cloud is heavy, but doesn't feel like it's going to lash down yet.

There's also a pretty decent breeze around the ground.

I meant that Tendulkar has scored a century in the first test we played in 2008 2009 2010 and 2011. this being our first test of 2012

Tendulkar is looking more and more nervous out there since Laxman has come in. It hasn't showed yet, but doesn't look good. He needs to play his natural game and not this I will get a single and we will rotate striker bull shit. Doesnt look good.
