Seeing as it's been a sight a lot of people in this thread have seen over the last year I thought it appropriate that the open of the 100th page, it's magnificent century, be honour with this man raising his bat to mark the achievement.

With a salute to us all

I don't fear your lot at all.

I think you'll win by an innings myself, or by 10 wickets at least

So do I, but I think it will still go to a 5th day.

I'm ignoring Boycott Jr at the top of this page.

Well batted Welshred.

I hoped the 100th page might have been brought up with news of Sachin's 100th 100. It's obviously just not meant to be!

Generous to who? India? Ha ha. Well, as I said, we can have a e-bet if you want. Nothing serious, just bragging rights :)

Perhaps Tendulkar should get a mention on this page. It's the only time he'll see his name next to another 100 *runs*
"You have to admire animals. Hamster spun round in a wheel three times bigger than him and abruptly lands on his back. Then just gets up and carries on as if nothing happened! If that was a human he'd be helicoptered to hospital, off work for 6 months have back issues for 20 years and then start legal proceedings against the wheels owner"

Why? Whens the last time he kept in a test? I'd have Sehwag over Tendulkar at the moment and Hussey over Ponting.

Someone's got to catch the ball behind the stumps, haven't they?

I'd have Sehwag nowhere near my team, I'm afraid.

Welshie, I did toy with the idea of having Zaheer in the team at the expense of Sachin.

Having seen Ponting's innings yesdterday, I have no qualms about having him in the team whatsoever, but decided that Rampaul's recent-ish form was good enough to merit a place.

I did actually consider AB de V to come in as a 'keeper batsman, but Sanga's stats are difficult to ignore.

Very overcast here.

If it doesn't rain it's going to be very tricky batting. I hope VVS brought enough jumpers.

Just checked weather.com and it says 70% chance of rain till 2 o clock.

Knowing India's luck, it won't rain. It will be heavy overcast and the ball will out swing like Shane Warne bowling with pace.

To be honest that's how I feel it might pan out. The cloud is heavy, but doesn't feel like it's going to lash down yet.

There's also a pretty decent breeze around the ground.

Sucks. Well, anyway, how they play today sets the tone for the next test, so at least fight FFS than just bottling it.

haha nice.  some of the things they were saying had me in stiches at work, good value.

Did you hear Harsha Bogle convincing O'Keefe to try the really hot chilli's?  Was pissing myself and trying not to wake up the missus.  Later, they were sharing them with the crowd out the window too.  Slow day out on the ground!

The SCG would be an excellent ground for Sachin to get his 100th 100. A Test match would make it perfect.

It won't happen though my Indian friends.

I see Michael Clarke's been inspired by the stumps and half the ground being pink. No surprise there.

Tendulkar is looking more and more nervous out there since Laxman has come in. It hasn't showed yet, but doesn't look good. He needs to play his natural game and not this I will get a single and we will rotate striker bull shit. Doesnt look good.
