I'm currently playing scramble with friends, which i find quite addictive.

I do have a question does anybody with a samsung galaxy s2 been able to download draw something, as it's saying my phone can't support it but i've heard otherwise

Cheers, I'll give it a go.

I use Go SMS with swift keyboard but when typing a new message it never goes to the next line any more. Just one continuous line i.e. word wrap in notepad is gone?

The emulator is the most annoying thing in the world. Definitely better to use your phone.

Agreed, i spent ages trying to get licencing working for my app and it turned out that the issue was with the emulator all along.

I couldn't download Draw Something on Friday when I tried, saying it wasn't compatible with the S2. However, it has downloaded today without a problem.

Well I've just gone for a Galaxy S2 on a £17 a month contract as I couldn't be arsed waiting for the newer phones and they are getting just too big now, the Galaxy S2 does everything I need.
I might have single handedly ruined Warrington's picture houses, but personally thought my pocket money was better spent at Anfield.

Any chance that someone knows how to remove margins on widgets?

Stupid things won't go away even if I use android:layout_marginRight:"-20".

It does get smaller using this method but never right up against the edge of the screen which is what I'm trying to achieve. I think 4.0 automatically adds margins. I'm doing something really stupid though because I got it to work before on a different project, which I have since deleted..

Was tempted to do the same a few weeks ago but decided to wait.

HTC One X and S will be out on Orange and T-Mobile this week. Just got off the phone to them. Wouldn't give me a price though.

When I rung, Friday or Sat, can't remember, I said I wanted the One X but the girl at T Mobile said it would be early May, but to be honest, I used that in my bargaining as I wasn't really bothered about the One X as looking at the size, it's a little too big for me. I also said I wasn't prepared to pay for the Galaxy on the £17 contract as it was already a year old (2 yr contract) and didn't have ICS yet (with T Mobile) I said they would virtually have to give it me to take that contract, unbelievably, she offered it me for free, just pay the postage, I snatched her hand off. Bargain.

Plus, I'd have struggled to get the One X for under £30 with a free phone I thing and I didn't want to pay that per month.

You done well with £17 a month, mate. They offered me the phone for free on a £21 a month contract. I'll make a decision at the end of the week once I know how much I'm paying a month for the HTC Onc. Don't want to be paying more than £25 a month.

The fuckers going back. Just checked online and the mins allocated is only 100mins, I agreed 300mins, they said sorry, if you want 300 mins it's £22 per month but we'll knock £5 a month off for 3 months,so I told them to fuck right off, they can do one, they can have a used phone back and I'm shopping elsewhere the wankers.

How do I do a factory restore on a Galaxy S2 before it goes at the wall.

I'll be getting a retention offer from Chitter Chatter tomorrow.

Does anyone have any experience with T-Mobile's fair use policy?  I'm starting to think that the basic 250MB package will suit me, as they don't charge any run-on fees.  You can always browse/email and if you go over the 250MB they just restrict your downloads/streaming, which I would barely use anyway.

However, one of their Live Chat reps has just told me that browsing rich content sites like the BBC would be counted as downloading, so could also be capped.  Anyone had any practical problem with this or are they just covering themselves from people who take the piss?

I can get the £15.50 contract with a free One S, if I go for the basic internet package, so worth checking out.

I'd get more than 250mb since that could be used quite quickly. If you're on T-mobile they give you one free booster when you sign up, and one of the boosters to chose from is unlimited internet. Which is really 3GB but that is a crapload. Ask them about the booster before you buy and see if it's still available.

I'll already be using the booster for unlimited texts.  I know what you mean about using the 250MB up quickly (a few high quality songs and it's well on its way), but it theoretically doesn't matter even if I use up my 250MB in a day, I still get to browse and email unlimited.  Unless I'm reading it wrong...   ???

I don't know if they throttle you or charge you since I've never had to worry about it. If they do throttle you and you're fine with it then I guess it's fine. With texts though, you could send them through the internet via whatsapp since most people have that. Since getting a smartphone I've only sent about 4 texts a month or something stupid. It's up to you though, if you use a lot of texts then fair enough.

I've never used whatsapp because I've always had unlimited texts.  Do all your friends need to have it as well for you to text them on it or can you text anyone with it?  Looks cracking if I can use it exactly as I do my regular texting app.

I like how it works across the Android and ios platforms. I never use it to text, but to send pics.
