Who scored for Manchester City?
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

I can think of at least one Austrian who was. :-X
Paranoia is a very comforting state of mind. If you think they're out to get you, it means you think you matter.

Life’s so much easier when you’ve got someone to blame.

Don't think so...I saw a load of them in Birmingham earlier, they were well sound, singing loads of songs and in good spirit.

Least Lerner won't have to fork out another free dinner this season to travelling Villa fans, when O'Neill sends a second-team out.

So I'm safe, then?  :P

Some good teams in the Group Stages this year, plenty with CL experience:

AS Roma, Valencia, Villarreal, Werder Bremen, Benfica, Genoa, Galatasaray, Lazio, Ajax, Fenerbache, Hertha Berlin, Fulham, FC Twente, Steaua Bucharest, HSV, Toulouse, PSV, Shaktar, Basel.

Noticed you left out Everton. Hmmm.
"My coach told me to warm up just before the break. He told me I was going to take care of Kaka. I didn't think it was possible to turn things around but in the dressing room at halftime Rafa Benitez was calm - "We are Liverpool FC, we have so many fans, we are not going to be slaughtered. If we can score a goal quickly we push on from there.""

But they would be a good team. If they had any money.

Also forgot to add some other good teams in the Group Stages: Celtic, Sporting Lisbon, Levski Sofia, Panathinaikos and Anderlecht.

Hopefully, it'll give the tournament some credibility again.

If I were a Villa or Everton fan, I'd be wanting my team to go all out for a trophy. Playing a second string last season was a bad move by O'Neill.

If thats a peno, then Voro at Spurs and Dirk on Monday we're nailed on peno's. Standard of ref'ing in this country is fucking appalling.

It was in Europe!!  ;D

Glad they are out, baffled me how they put a weakend side out in europe to qualify for...........europe. Deserve everything they got for last season.
