his assist is perfect but i just like the sense of urgency he showed whenever he received the ball -- his movements more often than not disrupt the rhythm of our opponents and tend to create spaces for us to attack. i am having him down as the most dangerous attacking midfielder in the league!

The type of pass that if Xavi, Iniesta, Kaka or whoever made it the whole world would be hailing it as world class.

You gotta love Yossi

Why is it so difficult for David Pleat to pronounce his name?
Saturday night I had a piss in a bus stop waiting for a taxi, turned around only to realise pissed on some poor bugger led on the floor. Fucks knows what he was doing there.

He played really well today but he has to take more shots.

With the positions that he can get into, if he had of took a few chances today it could have been 5-0.

Benny has been our best player... well... since february '09. Everytime he touch the ball... something magic happen... and we usually put that white thingy back of the net.

What the hell has happened to Benny this season?  It's like we've got Messi in the team  :D

Quote
He brings it now as he has last season, no doubt. What if Silva would snub the Mancs and says 'only Liverpool', but we don't have the cash, unless we let Yossi go to wherever and because of that sale could get Silva. What do we do? Hold on to Yossi or try to get Silva?

We have a lot of players to sell if needed before we got to Yossi.

Babel, Voronin, Degen, Dossena, Kyriakos, el zhar, plessis, (and would probably sell Riera if we got Silva)

There's also a good chance we'll be forced to sell Mascherano if Barca comes in with a huge offer...we'd probably replace him with Cattermole, and while we would get bled on that buy, I can see us walking away with 10m profit at least.

Not going to hammer that comment but your totally wrong.

Skillful players like Yossi, Joe Cole, Garcia etc Small skill full players do tend to keep hold off the ball longer as they believe in their ability to be able to beat the man and get them into a near perfect position to be able to shoot or pick out a good ball.

Yes sometimes they should shoot first time but not even forwards do all the time. Take Torres for example. He is one of the best forwards if not the best in the world because he can beat a man and shoot when the time is right.

Yossi is a class player and without question our best player since the turn of the year and he needs to be in the side week in, week out.

So, do we keep him on the right on a more permanent basis, or will Rafa go with Kuyt on the right, and what happens with Gerrard and then Aquillani coming back, so many questions which seem nice problems now just after about 3-4 hours.

Feel sorry for him? If he got home and found both his parents on fire, found out his sister was a crackwhore, his brother was a puff and his dog was dead I wouldn't feel sorry for the twat.

And he's one of the ones I don't really mind.

Dont matter. Yossi needs to start. He can play right, left or behind Torres. As long as Yossi is in the 1st 11 it makes not odds.

Love the way he carries the ball, and dribbles past defenders. Doesn't seem to do much, but always manages to glide past them.
It wouldn't be Liverpool if we didn't do it the hard way... ask Gareth Southgate.

There was one moment in the second half where he was running down the right wing and he had a manc running up to him. He dropped his left shoulder all but 3 inches and TOTALLY wrong footed the Manc!

Class...pure class, a proper Stanley Mathews style old fashioned footballer. Should be first on the team sheet every week (along with Pepe, Stevie and Fernando)

The one thing I don't get is, how come when Rafa's signings are always discussed, Benayoun isn't hailed as a masterstroke by the media? I doubt you'll find a better use of 5 million anywhere in the world. He came to us a good, but inconsistent player and Rafa is making him into a world beater. Not many other manager could have pulled off such a masterstroke.

He has really stepped it up in 2009 though. He must be gutted seeing the Christmas ad's on TV because it has been an amazing year for him.

I wasn't sure of him at first but he has totally proved me wrong. He always had talent and always was a goal scoring threat. But he was not that consistent until February 2009 hit and then he hit some really top level.

To be fair, his name has popped up more and more by other fans and commentators so he is getting more recognition.

When he played that ball in to Torres I knew that was going in! :D First name that came to my mind was 'Aquilani' in fact when it happened. Resembled one of Aquilani's pass in that MKB compilation.
I know it seems hard sometimes but remember one thing; through every dark night, there's a bright day after that. So no matter how hard it gets, stick your chest out, keep your head up and handle it.
