I've seen the wedding foto's. Very strange, with Arby lying across their heads.

Torres is being such a bloke by pretty much trying to avoid the fuss and signing whatever is put infront of him, be it a new contract or a marriage licence.

Think this says as much about her as it does him tbf.. the airhead wags some footballers marry have their own teams of agents and publicists, but this lass... well she snared our Nando so there must be summat special about her.

Here's how it went down: Stevie shows up late and sprints to the alter, passes the ring to Torres who slots it onto her finger. After the celebrations, Pepe Reina led the singing and Rafa has a talk with the three of them about how they could've done it better.

NEWSFLASH - Gerrard has just twatted a DJ in town because he refused to play "It Should Have Been Me"

"I saw my love walking down the aisle
& as he passed me by, he turned & he smiled
The preacher joined their hands
& all the people began to stand
When I shouted:

"You know that should have been me
Instead of her walking with you
You know that it should have been me
Getting ready to marry you
Darling, darling
You made a promise that we'd never part
& then you turned around & broke my heart
Now you're standing there saying 'I do'
Holding hands with somebody new
It should have been me
Instead of her standing by you
You know that it should have been me
Getting ready to say 'I do'!"

Then the preacher asked, "Will there be silence, please?
If any objections to this wedding
Speak now or forever, forever hold your peace"
Then I shouted:

"It should have been me
You know that it should have been me
You know that it should have been me
Darling, how could you do this to me?
People let me tell you now
It should have been me
Instead of her standing by you
You know that it should have been me
I've always been faithful & true!"

A class act and evidently his new missus is too.

That's mainly cos she's not thick and a typical English chavette. She's cute obviously intelligent, doesn't need a ton of slap and has been with Nando cos the relationship works, not cos it gets her into the papers.

Still don't know whether its a slight on the stupid footballers, or a compliment to all the women in this country with class that the two types of people are generally never seen together. Maybe we (or Hello magazine) start a quest to see how many footballers actually have classy wives. Theres not many, but then again, the ones with class are never in the limelight.
Some clubs were always destined for greatness...

No doubt people on here expect me to be one of the brokenhearted ones, but quite the contrary...I'm happy to share.

She's a really beautiful girl, tbf. Inside and out.

But I don't think there is anything wrong with footballers' wives being in the limelight. It's when they openly and aggressively go after the publicity that they grate on my nerves. Can't stand Posh Spice for that very same reason: not because she's famous but because she seems to need/crave the fame. Being Fernando's childhood sweetheart and the future mother of his child will make Olalla famous whether she likes it or not. But it's how she handles it that sets her apart.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Torres! :)  Wouldn't be surprised if they opt for a bigger wedding with both families present, after the baby is born.

Ronaldo is still running about with lady boys and trannies called Nani. Picking up cheap prostitutes as well. Whereas our Nando gets married in the most traditional fashion like a proper gent. He's a good lad, our Nando. Fair play.

I've been on an EasyJet flight with David Moores...

I've been on one with Aldo

and the Everton Under 11 (I think - they were young anyway) footie team - cheapskates - they were picked up at Liverpool Airport in a cheap mini bus - apparently the equivalent Liverpool youth team were picked up the day before in the same executive coaches the first team use (both teams had been competing in a cup competition in Portugal in April this year)*

Just realised if Everton youth flew home a day later that means they may have gone further in the competion
