Seen the replays now, certain pen for me, goes straight through the back of him.

How anyone can say it was not a foul is beyond me.

But isn't it annoying when you watch a game where you don't want Utd to win (obviously) yet the alternative is Adebayor and Ebuoe reaching the final?

I was going to watch the highlights right now without knowing the result. I saw the first goal, looked up the result and turned of the telly... ;)

Roma fans are more notorious, but was at the Roma vs Lazio derby in 2004 when it was suspended due to
a fire set by a few ultras, and that night the ultras on both sides decided to go to battle against the police and the carbonieri. A Lazio fan nearly brushed across me and cut me with a knife, and then apologised because he was trying
to get the bloke next to me. I sure didn't say prego to him after he apologised. I inhaled so much CS spray that night.

I'm extremely sorry for this awful experience you had to go through, I think you are referring to that derby that was suspended after the ultras spread the false rumour of a kid run over by a police car during the clashes outside the Olimpico, that time our authorities looked like muppets in the hands of the ultras. There are scum individuals in every set of fans and you came across one but in general Lazio fans don't hate the English like Roma ones, I meant they're different under this point of view.

Fletcher can fuck off.

He already has been from the final.

Me for one.

Its laughable that he is considered in the same league as the likes of Gerrard, Alonso, Xavi, Iniesta, Essien etc etc.

He is no way near that level and again I was amazed when someone on this site said if they were choosing a central midfielder, they would have Fabregas in there ahead of Stevie!

Madness.

Agree. People saying that he was injured and shit but Stevie had fucking injuries, plus personal problems as well. And look at his performances throughout the season. Fabregas not only played shit, but failed to inspire any of his teammates.

Oh, and the bright pink tights in your pic hurts the eye. ;)

Oh right, I read the bit about 25 what that had to do with the post I'll never know.

So they are youngsters then, not that it matters.

no your right arsenal players are all kids

i mean apart from almunia, sagna, toure, gallas, adebayor, van persie, arshavin, Eduardo, Silvestre, Eboué they have no one over the age of 25 and with any experience at all how can you make a team with no experience  ::)

Thinking positively (ok with a hint of straw clutching) this may turn out to be a blessing in disguise....

An easy route *cough bye* into the final stages, and SF walkover will give the Mancs an overrated sense of their own superiority, which bodes well when they (hopefully) play Barca, a team who are a class apart, and who will have come through a much sterner test at Chelsea. And maybe Arsenal will grow a pair of fucking balls and regain some pride in their league game now.

Too many here all but giving up the ghost to that shower. A shamed and fired-up Arsenal and a typical Barca performance in Rome, and we're looking at No.19 finally, leaving the Mancs with just the Carling Cup for their troubles. How fantastic and fitting would that be?

Felt sorry for Fletcher, granted he was last man and had the shirt of Cesc but no need to send him off.

Feel sorry for him? If he got home and found both his parents on fire, found out his sister was a crackwhore, his brother was a puff and his dog was dead I wouldn't feel sorry for the twat.

And he's one of the ones I don't really mind.

So then you offer him a better one, or better yet don't let him get to within six months of his contract running out.

Yeah, lets pay big bucks to a player only Birmingham City wanted a year ago. Had we got any of the 100's of dm's we tried to get, this wouldn't be an issue and that is where we failed. Not failing to give one year miracle Flamini a new contract but failing to secure the guys we wanted

Quote
Really??! What game were you watching mate? Sounds better than the one I just watched. I know you're going to stick up for your side, and that's understandable, but fuck me if that wasn't the worst performance I've ever seen in the champions league at this stage. Your lot were appalling. Nasri is THE only player who looked remotely bothered.

I saw us getting the better of Man U till Gibbs slipped, I saw us rally and keep Man U off our weak defense, I saw us push on in the second half and get into several good crossing positions that were wasted by Ade being in the wrong place. We were not that good but we were hardly shite going forward either

You let Diarra go as well :duh

On the same score, we should have kept Anelka. For the same reason, we sold both

Quote
And you failed to get a good DM because Wenger doesn't want to spend money, not because you ran out of time.

I don't think either Inler or Yaya Toure were cheap

Cesc has been awful this year, don't think Arsene's obsession with pushing him upfield exactly helped but Cesc should be doing better

Yes I've been fantasising on that scenario too....but I keep losing it because I know that those priks are far too professional in every dept. to be silly and complacent at this stage....what we need is lady luck to play a part. we hit the fuckin bar 3 times they  get 2 gift goal chances in 8 minutes.......a bit of karma.....is what we need and I still hope for it.

Yeah right. Gerrard was better when he was at 22. Fabregas is shit and easily one of the most overrated players in Europe.

There is a reason he cant get into the spanish team, namely that he isnt as good and will never be as good as Xabi, Xavi and Iniesta.

Disagree, yeah he's had a poor season but Fabregas is one of the best in the world for his age, and comparing him to established interantionals at their peak is pointless.

I think he's better than Gerrard was at that age, i dont think he'll be as good as Gerrard but he's made more of an impact on the premier league imo than Gerrard did at that age.

That was a complete pile of shite.

Arsenal were fucking woeful. Cannot understand how Wenger (who I respected as a manager) has let this team go to Hell.  They are vying with loss of their top 4 status, nevermind looking like challenging for top spot in anything in the future. Crap performance. Only credit is to Nasri. The rest... not least their manager, who looked bewildered and clueless from the outset... can go and have a look at themselves. Fabregas, Adebayor.... shit beyond measure.

I'm entirely fucked off.

Have to say, the confidence that gives the Mancs does fuck all to help our chances at the weekend, I feel the cun ts will batter Citeh now.

And anyone thinking that the Arse can do us a favour in the League game.. well thats gone to Hell now.  That shower?  Arshavin will need to go some, being the one man in that team who can play a bit.  How much of a waste is that prodigy formerly known as Walcott? Tit.

Now I really am wishing for a Chelsea win tomorrow.  Anyone who is deluded enough to think that Barca (with a UEFA ref suited to Mr Ferguson),  and a defence like they have, and a manager like Guardiola, will have an earthly chance of stopping the cu..nts needs to think again.  Our best hope (and its not pleasant I know) is that a highly motivated Chelsea, with a great manager, and actually playing decently at the mo,  can wipe the fuckers in Rome.

Its not a great choice, I detest the thought of those Lahndon pricks winning the European Cup... but it can only be them to stop the Mancs.

I'm sick.

Very subjective that.

Im open to suggestions on what people think is the reason.
I have to agree to some ectent, the ronaldo, ferdinand vidic  post to  be honest.
Their defence is usually rock solid and ronaldo has been scoring alot again recently.

That wouldn't just be fantastic and fitting, that would be sheer ecstasy, orgasmic, heaven on earth, just fckin out of this goddamn world !!!!

He is no way near that level and again I was amazed when someone on this site said if they were choosing a central midfielder, they would have Fabregas in there ahead of Stevie!

Hahahaha who said that??

They need a slap.

Barca are without their 2 first choice center halfs. So, I can see it now....
Dropba doing his best Platoon poster imitation all over the pitch. They're big lumps piling into the box. Fatty Frank plopping it into the area. One of them getting their head on it. Then defending the goal by committing niggly little fould after foul to keep Barca out.
