He's still way too good to be our 4th choice.

A model professional, sad to see him go but he's been a great service to the club. Probably most value for money we have seen in recent years.

A legend and great servant to the team. I would have liked him to have joined the coaching staff, but he obviously feels he still wants to play. Good luck at Bayer Leverkusen Sami.

One of my favourite players. An absolute rock in games. My highlights:

1. His rock sold partnership with Henchoz then for a little while with Carra
2. His dominance in the air
3. CL goals vs Juventus & Arsenal
4. The season he went without getting a single yellow card - incredible

PROPER Legend at LFC (and to think there was a thread asking if David Speedie was a legend not long ago!!!)
Unflappable, superb defender. Did his job, and did it well. Bargain of the last 20 years.

Hope the fans give him the send off he deserves.
