You must remember that none of the 2006-2007 team are still in the U-18's. About 1/2 of them are on loan to Championship teams or below and a few are forming the basis of the reserves.

half decent night out.
Players took it to brum all game, closed them down pretty swiftly.
Kennedy is a rock of a lad, Ince and Amoo played very well. And the lad up front with the look of Torres terrorised
the blues back 4.

True, he's the look of a good centre.
But the way he totally controlled the big lad with the braids tonight was a sight to see.You could tell the brum lad was good, but Kennedy just never let him be part of the game.

I've watched every game and to be honest not seen him have a bad one.Makes a few mistakes but that's down to youth.

Great result for the younglings though, should be a formality next Friday, and Arsenal's kids are 2-1 up with their home leg to come aswell I think, so I'm hoping we actually get to play them in the final. Would be....interesting.

Got back from the game. Was a stroll at times in the second half, taking pot shots at the Brum keeper. Could have been more, but three-nil was a fair reflection on the game. Can only remember them having a couple of shots, all were easily saved. Some of their fans are absolutely retarded, and that's coming from brum fans themselves. On this evidence, the second leg should be a cakewalk. 5-0 reds.
