Andrea Dossena will start on the wing when Liverpool take on Fulham at Craven Cottage this afternoon.
Lucas also starts in place of Javier Mascherano, who travelled with Argentina in midweek.

The Reds XI in full is: Reina, Arbeloa, Insua, Carragher, Skrtel, Lucas, Alonso, Kuyt, Dossena, Torres, Gerrard. Subs: Cavalieri, Agger, Ngog, Riera, Benayoun, Babel, Mascherano.

S'alright that.

Been wanting to see Dossena on a wing for a while now, and even though it's a vital game, there's not likely to be a much better chance to try it out. Here's hoping...

Strong bench anyways if it's not working out.

I'm excited to see Dossena on the wing, he has done well during a few cameo's down there.

It is also nice to see Insua playing, and I suppose this is the best team we could put out considering the international's.

Maybe not, but if he plays today he's probably out for Weds given he struggles to repeat games. Insua can't play Weds, so makes sense.

it seems so... even with chelsea in mind i'm sure he'd make the bench. and on top of that gedo said he was a doubt.

It could work well, he's had a rest this week and he scored both of his goals while playing as a left sided attacker, although both were the result of the other team chasing. I can see him playing for an hour to tire the opposition and then being replaced with Riera, possibly with Babel coming in for Kuyt at the same time.

I would have played Riera and Mascherano. Even if they are not 100% physically, I feel they can bring alot more depleted, than a full strength Dossena and Lucas could.

FFS, Mascherano just got back from Argentina thursday evening, two/three training sessions, then they have to make the trip to london.....
