Well, well, well in advance... I'll pick a 1-1 scoreline for a 2-1 aggregate win.

Us to score first, through Torres in the first half, then them to score with about 20 mins or so to go, setting up a tense, Liverpool-Chelsea 2005 semi-final style grandstand finish...

We then go on to beat the Mancs at the weekend, win the champions League final against Inter and finish 3rd in the league, 4 points behind the Mancs and level with Chelsea (behind on goal difference). The Mancs win "a" treble (League and FA Cups + the league).

We don't need to attack heaps in this game. But we cant afford to park the bus. This has been our most successful formation and I think it is the way to go.

I'd expect Torres to at least be on the bench for this one.

I'm expecting a "Real" nail biter, something similar to the way we hung on at home to Barca.

I would like us to go at them early, and it may be captain fantastics time to shine again

I think we've shown on enough occasions that we are vulnerable in defence as well though.

I am sure Rafa will find some minor injury for him until the end of season.

Agree, but their attack is capable of taking any defence apart. Be really interesting to see how Rafa sets us up for this one. Can't wait, only five days to go.

I don't see a reason for Ngog not to play this one if Torres is still not ready, a performance like the one against Sunderland is all we need. He put himself about and was generally quite intelligent in his movement.

I would keep Babel for the 65th minute, altho i imagine he will start, Benny on the right and Kuyt up front supported by Gerrard.

N'gog should not start this game. Despite his good performance midweek, Madrid will physically batter him. He wouldn't last a half lol. If Torres is unfit, Kuyt will lead the line.
