Lindt Chili Dark Chocolate
« on: January 5, 2009, 10:38:02 PM »
My other half introduced me to this sent from heaven chocolate over Christmas !  :lickin

I've always loved Lindt but always played safe with the milk chocolate but this is absolutely gorgeous and I'm developing a serious addiction to it. For those who haven't tried it or like me wasn't that keen on dark chocolate this is a must ! Go out and get some NOW !  :wave

Tried all but the chilli flavours from Lindt

I saw it in a shop once and it totally put me off. Not sure I am brave enough to try chilli and chocolate, but its a combination that is used alot.

Had this today...was ok, nothing special

Sounds fucking discusting I'll stick with the normal Lindts.
I only drink on special occasions. Like Fridays and Saturdays. The occasional Sunday. Sometimes even Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Never Thursday. Well, every so often maybe a Thursday.

I think there's a chilli soup with a hint of chocolate too, a mate was telling me.

Morrisons I think he said he got it.

I've tried the Lucifer's chili ginger biscuits and they are gorgeous. At first they just taste like normal ginger nuts, then there's a sharp, hot bite in the back of your throat. Awesome!

I think this is how chocolate was consumed back in the day (and by that I mean a few thousand years ago back during the Aztec times)- a spicy chocolate drink.

I learnt that fact when I was on a school trip at Cadbury's World... must have been over 10 years ago). Randomly remembered it now...

It does sound a bit wrong though.

It sounds vile. Does it actually taste like chilli or just a bit spicy?

Have some Thorntons choccies from Christmas. Am such a fussy cow that I don't like any of them.
