I don't think this is the game for Fab to make his first starts back from injury, it will be very physical. As such I would rather see Dossena play because he is a bit stronger, and their right side isn't exactly that much of a threat.

                    Pepe
Carra      Sami     Agger     Dossena
            Lucas        Masch
Dirk                Stevie            Albert
                    Keane
I'm high as a motherfucker, fly as a motherfucker.

Etherington? Good signing, as would the other two be IMO.

I'd be a lot more worried about them with those three than without...though it could also open them up a bit.

Why do people mention when a substitution should take place in a match as in 'around 60 minutes take Keane off for..'?

How can you plan something like that?  That would surely depend upon how the match is going at the time.

Does anybody know if this game has a chance of being called off due to the harsh weather we have been having recently?

                                               Reina

 Carra                       Agger                  Sami            Dossena

                                             Masch

 Kuyt                                                                          Riera

                                             Gerrard

                                     Torres          Keane

That is what I'd like to see, but I'll guess Torres will be on the bench seeing as he probably won't be 100% so Lucas to pair up with Masch in midfield, although I feel we do not need 2 holding midfielders against Stoke, Masch is more than capable I feel. Important game though especially because of the Mancs and Chelsea playing each other but this is NOT an easy game,  plus it would be great to see Nando and Robbie out there together - seems a long time now :P

It will be great to see Skrtel get on - this is his kind of game  ;)

1-0 us with Stevie getting the goal.

Can't see any Premiership games being called off to be honest. The grounds are very well maintained.

Been to Britannia stadium before, the ground is in tip top condition. Reminds me of Pride Park/Riverside or one of those other bowl designs. I just remember one side being totally open thoug and freezing me tits off

Fuck it! Go on the attack and tear these motherfuckers apart for parking the bus at Anfield! Their captain is a shitbag who cried when he got bitch slapped so we should do a directory enquiries on them and play 1 - 1 - 8   Torres hat trick, Keane double, one each for Gerrard, Kuyt and Albert. Early dart, and then stop off at Alton Towers for a few goes on Nautilus and the Corkscrew and a bag of candy floss and a sugar dummy for the coach home. Happy Days!!   ;)

The away stand at the Britannia is more open to the wind. Froze my arse off there. Stoke have long been linked with Ledley. Ledley hasn't rejected a contract extension from Cardiff (i think he has been offered one) so i would be very surprised if he signed for Stoke in time. He doesn't want to leave nor do Cardiff want to let him but stories from his agent about running out his contract is the only reason Cardiff will sell. So obviously if he refuses to sign the extension they will sell him.

Have a very bad feeling about this game. Just so important that we come away with 3 points and have a nice cushion before the mancs play chelsea, but I just have this horrible vision right now....of a bus, well and trully parked.

Yeah reckon carra right back maybe,
get hyppia and agger in the middle.
so weve got 3 powerful defenders who can handle balls in the box etc.

Harewood would be  a good signing for them like,

Very little chance. We have excellent undersoil heating, can't remember the last home game that was threatened with postponement due to frost...

The Brit has 3 open corners - The south stand is situated between 2 of them (although one has slightly been filled in by a wind-breaker and new big screen)

On the summer deadline day, we pretty much had Ledley signed, sealed and delivered however Cardiff stalled at the last minute which meant we had to get Tom Soares and Michael Tonge instead although neither has held onto a regular first team spot. The current prices being quoted for Joe Ledley are arounf the £7million mark which is way too much considering our position...

Win it and watch Rafa come out and say he will enjoy watching the Utd Chelsea game as he is curious which side will come 2nd this season. The losers of that game can forget about the title ;P

Yeah, ideally we all want to have out feet up for the Manc v Chelsea game on Sunday having won comfortably the day before, really put a bit of pressure on them both so it turns into a nasty game..few injuries would be nice too.

Fancy us for a comfortable win if we keep them quiet for 20 mins. We are playing well and the midfield 3 of Gerrard plus 2 are giving us control.

Hopefully, Nando is back for an hour with Riera and Kuyt wide.

Sami a must. If Skrtel is fit there is a decent argument for going in with all 4 centre backs against these.

Assuming Xabi not quite right I'd go

Pepe
Carra, Skrtel, Sami, Danny
   Masch, Lucas
Kuyt, Stevie, Bertie
  Nando

That is a strong side with the best aerial strength we have. I think he'll try to not use Alonso if he can get away with it if his foot is still sore. If he's fit, he's in for Lucas probably.

The front 4 will pick them off.

Same Game plan as Bolton at home, any one agree? They parked the bus and we broke them down THREE times.
