I was talking about Rasmus Elm (younger brother of Heerenveen player Victor). Rasmus is still a Kalmar FF player, and he's more talented than Victor, but yes, I like Victor as well. However Victor Elm is too old for the U21 NT, but Rasmus is in the swedish team.
Sorry, forget what I've said.

Hull have had a bid accepted by Utd. Looks like he'll be there next season.

Great goal again.

Walcotts pace is FRIGHTENING

Pity the rest of his game is average (although there was 'end product' just then)

as an impact sub to run at tired players yea but when he starts a lot of the time he is invisible against any half decent full back

Finland - Germany 0-2. We dominated the game but Germany scored two goals in two minutes. It was really similar game to our game against England. We played really well in the 1st half and dominated but in the 2nd half we created fuck all. On monday we only play for our pride and it's another opportunity for our young lads you impress scouts in the stands. Our left back Raitala was brilliant again tonight. Don't think he will play in Finland for a long time.

Can't believe Raul Garcia is playing in an under 21 tourny

Thought he was mid-late 20's

Missed most of the game but the panel on English TV said Finland were really really unlucky not to get anything out of their two games. Said they were the better team.

Said almost the same thing to my old man the other night. He's just been known for so long that you expect him to be 24/25, when he's still only 22. Qualifies because of that birthday deadline nonsense.

It has to be said, that Bojan has been utter cack in this tournament. Yes, most of players are older than him, but we expect him to shine at any level at this point. There hasn't been any side of his game, that deserves praise. He has to bulk up, and hopefully that will help his transition to senior football.

On another note, I got to say that Raul Garcia is by far the best player in this Spanish side, IMO. And he isn't even remotely as good as senior Spanish midfielders. Yes, Cesc, Busquets, Ramos, Mata and others could play in this tournament, but this tournament showed that young Spaniards are long way from first team.

The key advantage of senior Spanish NT is that they control midfield, and therefore the game, they dominate games and midfield. This youngsters cannot dominate midfield, and as a result, have to play oppositions game. Against both Germany and England, they tried to play fast physical game style, which is just plain wrong, its their game style and Spain has little chance to win playing that game. Because they are not used to this fast paced physical game. Anyway, Lopez Caro has done a bad job.

Spain have been poor, what two chances in two games that were not long shots? Or a Nedum backpass?

Delighted to be through already and hope the likes of Rose and Tomkins get a run out against Germany. Have things to work on, Hart's descion making, the early nerves our defenders suffer, the struggled of the midfield, the lack of good crosses but we did play last night, didn't allow Spain to cut through us, impressed with back four and Mumaba for that. Look forward to semi's and hope we give the likes of Rose a run out against Germany

Spain are doing badly bad. When the U17's went out at group stage after three 0-0 draws, they had dominated every game, been rock solid at the back, this U21 side however are struggling to find three or four outfield players (their keeper has been brilliant so far) that have impressed.
