Bought this home theatre kit yesterday but cant seem to hook it up to my ps3 which i mainly bought it for the fella in currys said it has an optical in and sold me an optical wire but cant find one at all so would there be any other way to get sound from my ps3 through this? cheers

So there would be no way at all of connecting it so the sound from the ps3 comes out of it?

if the fella in curries said it had optical, take it back as it was sold under false information.

You wouldn't get sound from the PS3 in 5.1 surround sound if you don't use optical (I think the PS3 only has an optical out as a digital connector). Take it back and get one with an optical IN so you can get 5.1 surround from the PS3.

Rang up an told them and they got the fella to ring me back and he apologized like and said it was his mistake he thought there was an opt in but there wasnt so it was his fault so they said they could giv me abit of money back on it or i could choose another one and knock some money off so got a £530 5.1 surround with opt in and they knocked of £30
