post what you like lad and if I dont like it I'll tell you - dont really do the 'mod' thing - we 're supposed to be grown ups in here - you can react to that however you want - me I'd probably have a think about what I'd written if somebody said it was out of order...........

I hate to disillusion you, but I'm not a lad.

Some of the abuse we are getting for muting FS is highly uncalled for.

Who's abusing you hon?  And where?   :no

Europa cup won't matter anyway, not if we have to concentrate on getting 4th ;)

The staff should never have allowed him to wander around like that.  They're supposed to check the looney ones who can't dress themselves properly you know.   Ladies sitting there too.  Disgusting.

Tony, saved me few bob, id I go next season.

On the Leo thing, Me I think mods are out odf order silencing a genuine lad speaking from the heart, argue all the time with him, but that's sound, way we are.

Problem is, for whatever reason, this place has become completely over-run by complete c*nts, wankers who wouldn't know their arse from their elbow. Its hardly surprising when some who have seen Camblewick Green lose it from time to time with the c*nts.

Me? I'd honestly love a nice Saturday afternoon in Kirkby with most of them, but honestly there is more chance of meeting them in Disneyland.

Enough of all that, had a Boss night, Sound City, the place to be!

Is there anybody else out there who genuinely doesn't give a shit who we get as manager.

I think we may as well change the name as well. I mean, 'Liverpool' ffs, surely they can come up with something better than that tired old brand.

I'll probably watch the games on the computer if I'm in, but it's never going to be the same. I don't even feel particularly sad about it.

So can we just get back to Bill and Ben, a four of chips, steering-carts and white dog shit.

Bleedin' hell - that brings back a shocking memory of a baking hot summer day and playing footy in the street. We wanted to draw some goals on the side wall of the house at the bottom of the street - you know, some wanted to write CITY and some UNITED in the goalmouth. Anyway we were struggling to get hold of some chalk until one of the lads found some down the back alley. So we got stuck into the wall painting. Funny smelling chalk it was too......... ::) ::)

Did you ever see Hoagy in that ol' Humphrey Gocart film, I think it was 'To Have and to Have Not' - absolute boss film. Anyway Hoagy plays the joanna in this club where Lauren Bacall sings - except the voice of a very young Andy Williams was dubbed in for Bacall. In fact I better go and google all this up cos it's starting to sound like one of my typical posts that turns out to be a load of bollocks - oh sod it, I can't be arsed checking.

Hey all, just ducked in to ask a quick question.  Obviously with Chelsea winning last night theres a lot of people who are angry, gutted, disappointed etc in the general sports thread.  Just out of curiosity how did supporters (yourselves or anyone you knew at the time) react to the likes of Notts Forest or Villa winning European trophies?  Did people clap them on / want them to win or was it all as nasty back then as it seems to be now?

Ill be honest I didnt want Chelsea to win last night for a large number of reasons, but part of me thinks that now theyve gone and done it it wont be such a big deal.

Don't remember any real ill feeling towards Forest, and I don't remember feeling sick when Francis scored in the final but Clough Loved and worshipped Shankly so that helped. We mostly hated Gerald Sinstadt for playing 'The Party's Over' when they beat us.

Heart says f*ck the plastics; head says they've done us a favour and I see Spurs in decline now. How do you feel about United's chances now Johnno - you reckon the Glazers are going to invest big-time this summer, or keep it ticking over on a CL place basis like Arsenal.
Liverpool is a special place because they make their own players into gods extraordinarily, recklessly quickly.

To tone abs, thighs and buns
And his moustache was far, far from teeny

Does anyone else wonder if they've sacked Kenny to make this Reality TV show an even bigger hit when it comes out in the Autumn (sorry, Fall)?

The Club's turning into a back page soap opera as it is :(

I just remember crying my eyes out, when Forest knocked us out as we were going for a hat-trick of European Cup wins that season. Don't remember hating them or anything, didn't especially like Clough, though he was a good manager. Thing is though that's what I loved about the old days, the fact that a team like Forest could come up from the Second division and actually become European Champions. I mean that will probably never happen now, the money in the Champions League has just wrecked the dream that any side can become the European Champs, and that is not progress at the end of the day.

I thought she sang in Casablanca, but there again I thought
Dot Tanner was in Dallas.   :-\

No mate, you're thinking of Elsie Tanner - who was in Casablanca.
