Would ideally like to see them in uni or whatever but there is no way Neil would get into 1 ;)

reckon he would get in an old poly that pretends to be a uni

The Inbetweeners film in the works
10:48 Wed 09 September 2009

Surprise comic hit of the year The Inbetweeners is being made into a film, on top of the new series the writers are already working on. Let’s hope it doesn’t go the way of that god-awful On The Buses film. Now that was rubbish.

One problem, the predicted plot involves them being taken out of their environment – always a bad sign in comedy – and going on a ‘disaster-packed holiday’, presumably with ‘hilarious results'. Fingers crossed it’s going to be ok, and not like Kevin and Perry Go Large, which was also not very good....

We're working on a new movie and a new series,’ said co-writer Damon Beesely. ‘We've got really big hopes. We'd love to do the movie. Who knows, one of them might even get a girlfriend in it. But we'll struggle to cast that - who'd want to go out with them?’ Now that they’re famous actors, probably plenty of girls.

Inbetweeners Movie News
by Chris Tilly, IGN UK

UK, September 9, 2009 - The Inbetweeners is the most popular sitcom in the IGN-UK office at present, so we're pleased to hear the news of a potential feature film in the works at Film4.

The E4 show -- which follows the trials and tribulations of four foul-mouthed schoolboys -- could be set to hit the big-screen, with the action potentially taking place on foreign soil.

"We always try and make the show as real as we can" co-writer Iain Morris told The Press Association. "And we think boys of that age tend to go on holiday abroad. We think a film could do justice to that."

<a href="http://c.brightcove.com/services/viewer/federated_f9/3924638001?isVid=1&amp;publisherID=1213940598&quot; bgcolor=&quot;#FFFFFF&quot; flashVars=&quot;videoId=1506563941&amp;playerID=3924638001&amp;domain=embed&amp;" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://c.brightcove.com/services/viewer/federated_f9/3924638001?isVid=1&amp;publisherID=1213940598&quot; bgcolor=&quot;#FFFFFF&quot; flashVars=&quot;videoId=1506563941&amp;playerID=3924638001&amp;domain=embed&amp;</a>

The thought of the boys embarking on a foreign jolly conjures up images of previous TV spin-offs Kevin and Perry Go Large, or worse still, Are You Being Served: The Movie. But we're confident that in the hands of Morris and his writing partner Damon Beesely, an Inbetweeners movie would remain faithful to the source material.

Whatever the case, the pair are currently working on a script, so watch this space for further updates.

Hope the film does the show justice.

Fair play, I see what you're saying but surprisingly not everyone looks like the characters they play! He was wearing a pair of chinos that were about 2 inches too short for his legs!

Only started watching this at about eight o'clock last night, and i've already finished both series! I probably need to get a life but this show really is brilliant, i'm in my last year of sixth form and its scary/hilarious how me and all my mates can be compared to all of the characters. It's also funny that the girls in school who think we're twats love the programme as well!

Personally my favourite episode is the geography trip, the whole scene where they are in the boat is hilarious. Love Jay saying about him and his mate taking a pedalo to Africa :D

Jay: she was like frigid, and she wouldn't have this threesome even though I organised it with a top lezzer model, and (sobbing) my cock was too big for her

just excellent juvenile humour

I love the way Jay keeps lieing about amzing sexual adventures and how Neil wants to shag his Mum

I do think the lead looks and sounds and has the personality of the guy who is on the Anwser Me This podcast

Was that a new one on E4 last night or an old one? It was Wills 17th birthday and they jumped over a fence to get into a party. Was really funny like wasn't sure if it was new or not.
