UK, September 9, 2009 - The Inbetweeners is the most popular sitcom in the IGN-UK office at present, so we're pleased to hear the news of a potential feature film in the works at Film4.

The E4 show -- which follows the trials and tribulations of four foul-mouthed schoolboys -- could be set to hit the big-screen, with the action potentially taking place on foreign soil.

"We always try and make the show as real as we can" co-writer Iain Morris told The Press Association. "And we think boys of that age tend to go on holiday abroad. We think a film could do justice to that."

The thought of the boys embarking on a foreign jolly conjures up images of previous TV spin-offs Kevin and Perry Go Large, or worse still, Are You Being Served: The Movie. But we're confident that in the hands of Morris and his writing partner Damon Beesely, an Inbetweeners movie would remain faithful to the source material.

Whatever the case, the pair are currently working on a script, so watch this space for further updates.

Saw the guy that plays Will on Brick Lane on Sunday. He looks like a bit of a geek in real life too.

Only started watching this at about eight o'clock last night, and i've already finished both series! I probably need to get a life but this show really is brilliant, i'm in my last year of sixth form and its scary/hilarious how me and all my mates can be compared to all of the characters. It's also funny that the girls in school who think we're twats love the programme as well!

Personally my favourite episode is the geography trip, the whole scene where they are in the boat is hilarious. Love Jay saying about him and his mate taking a pedalo to Africa
