I refer to the thread about Billy Liddell in which one poster is attempting to have a statue erected for Billy -
Sir William Beveridge Liddell that is - in Billy's hometown of Dunfermline.
Now don't tell me that any self-respecting Red is unaware of just how pivotal Billy Liddell was to the LFC we know today.
The term "pivotal" scarcely begins to do justice to the man.
And yet a thread requesting one pathetic measly signature on a heartwarming petition from every fan reading these godforsaken message boards so as to procure a fitting edifice for
our greatest ever footballer in his hometown is effectively cold-shouldered by 99% of so-called reds reading these boards.
