Leicester Square is shit, too big to congregate properly. And the Wetherspoons is horrifically over priced!

and full on poncy theatrical people, had a roam around before Arse and agree with ya mate.

Lads: Chelsea will be placing THOUSANDS of plastic flags at SB on Wed, the thread discussing it is here:

http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=218398.msg4231416

Here's something that might be worth singing:

"We make our own flags,
We make our own flags,
In Liverpool,
We make our own flags"

Hows that? You guys are the hardcore support so whatever your opinion is, it matters
.....where once we watched the King Kenny play

Don't think it's top secret, but would be surprised if it's the same as Arsenal. We're looking more in a Fulham direction, I reckon. Will let you know, anyway.

Yeah in the past that pub as you come out of Earls Court on the right is good. I remember we had an early kick off once and it was closed lol but obviously in the evening it will be packed.

A few of us set off a bit early from Earls Court last year and didn't get caught up in the route march. Plan to do the same this time.

Mind you still nearly got arrested near Stamford Bridge for supping tinnies!
At Ataturk one persistant soul
Sang “walk alone” behind the goal

Soon all around the twelfth man sang
Around that dismal place it rang

We did our bit that fateful night
My brothers brown or black or white

I raise my glass through wind and rain
It’s cheers until we meet again

It's pretty far away for SB though. would involve a couple of changes on the tube as well, and the northern line is fuckin horrible.

Richmond. A dozen pubs, fewer old bill, a green for the footy and 8 stops on the same line as Earls Court.

Easier to park if you're driving as well.

There are three pubs directly on the green, on the town centre side. Sounds the best bet.

Same here mate, went to Leicester Sq was quite a few reds in Yates' but that was about it, i think i might head for earls court area, but seems like most people aint bothered about a main meeting point. just see what happens i guess!

Richmond sounds good though.

I would warn anyone thinking of going and stopping for a beer round Earls Court to be away from there by 7 at the very latest. What happened last year when people tried to leave there is still the subject of at least one very heavy investigation and probably quite a few on-going complaints against police.

Check the threads after the semi last year. Its quite scary.

Is it Camden, Trafalgar Square or Where on Wednesday Afternoon?
« Reply #71 on: April 27, 2008, 05:13:58 PM »
We had a good get togther for the home game in Derby Square in the afternoon. A few flags, a good few songs and a few bevvies. There has been a lot of different suggestions for the away leg on other threads. For the Arsenal away the bizzies wouldn't let us near Traf Square. Was this just a one off or will it be different for Chelsea? Leicester Sq. was a non event for the Arsenal Away due to Jagger. We ended up at the Drayton Arms which was OK. Before the Carling Cup we went the Slug & Lettuce just outside Fulham Broadway Stn and the fella even put an old Reds game on the telly.

So the question is, where should we meet on Wednesday afternoon? An outside venue would be great for us all to get together and get in the spirit to urge our boys in the Final.
