he aint been in the past few squads expect for sunday when he was sub, he did have a injury that set him back an this has been most prob his worst season as the club performance wise since he joined.

will he be shiped out in the summer?
be a shame if thats the case

i would just like to add behind sami i do think he has to be in the top 5 liverpool signings since the prem started!

Would be a shame but he's been a fine servant and would go with the total respect and admiration of the Anfield crowd.
Proved an excellent buy and was a key player for 4 years.

That said, I'd keep him as cover for any new right-back...unless Barragan comes back

To be fair though you raise some good points of debate, he's been a very good and very dependable player for us but his injuries this season, retirement from international football and decline in form make you wonder how much longer he has left at the top.

If you're visiting Crete this year, Greece or any of the Greek islands please take a minute to visit this website www.findstevencook.co.uk and learn about a good Red who needs your help. Thank you

Hard to judge his form though given the amount of injuries he's had. That's what worries me to be honest. I think we'll need atleast one class full back in the summer so given that it'll be interesting to see how Rafa juggles Carra, Skrtel and Agger. It'll be very hard for Finnan to get back to where he was 12 months ago
It's wonderful, it's marvellous, it's 3-3

Kind of. He did well - as ever - when he needed to defend but he kept getting sucked in and giving them space out on the left

A fit steve finnan is still an easy first choice at RB in our current squad and we could do with him next week

It feels like we haven’t seen Finnan in years. Okay, slight exaggeration, but what is his injury, exactly? Is he injured, unfit or simply out of favour? Cannot be the latter because we have been playing Carra at right back so I can only imagine he is still somewhat injured, but was it ever established what the injury was?

He seemed so consistently fit for the most part. Its only this past year that he has had these knocks and strains. Is it simply age coming into play? The man always appeared to drink from the fountain of youth. It had to catch up with him some time.
Blank.
