Now then, there are many different connotations of the old nutmeg, with the coup de ville being a clean push through the legs, with a call as it happens, and a collect on the other side.

But, whilst that is a true 'meg', the following enquiries must be made:

If you don't call it, does it count? Can you brag about it later?
If you call it late, does it count?
If you don't mean it, can you call it?
If you don't collect it, and concede posession, does it count?
If you use it to pass to a teammate successfully, is that OK?
If it clips a leg on the way through, does it count?

one thing that as botherd me about this "nuts" or "megs" thing,
When Sir King Kenny was asked about "nuts" or "megs" he said that you dont shout any of them, you shout nutmegged!, Rodney Marsh and Charlie George all said the same thing, so for me anybody who says "nuts" or "megs" need to be locked up, you cant argue with them 3 players.

I don't agree with the others saying it 'counts' when you concede possession, put the ball thru the legs, take the piss and you/your team still has to have the ball.

If you lose the ball it doesnt count, you may as well have kicked it out of play or straight to an opponent.

The whole point is that you are in control enough to get the ball afterwards, otherwise any old hacker could spend their time blasting it through the opponents legs!!

Yes, but you should reserve the right to hold the moral high ground if said team mate then fucks up the move by dribbling the ball out for a goal kick from 25 yards.

Yes. Any part of the body apart from the hand/arm (unless you're the keeper of course, in which case you can roll the ball through the opposition players legs).

Remember at school me and a lad has a running competition for several years of who could meg eachother the most, good days! The Meg had to be Pure. You had to collect it, no passes allowed!

If you call it late, does it count? Yes, but it takes the edge away from it a little bit. Plus i don't know why you would call it late 
If you don't mean it, can you call it?  Yes, this makes it even better. The opponent was so bad that you didn't even mean to nutmeg them but you still did.
If you don't collect it, and concede posession, does it count? Yes. It's still embarassing for the opponent and it still went through their legs.
If you use it to pass to a teammate successfully, is that OK? Yes
If it clips a leg on the way through, does it count? No
