please wait until reputable sources have confirmed stuff
what we know so far from reputable sources:
-Echo says DIC are prepared to bid but say Hicks selling is another matter entirely
-Reuters reports: Liverpool FC Deal soon,
amount may changehttp://www.reuters.com/article/rbssFinancialServicesAndRealEstateNews/idUSL1782102520080117Notice the details of
£300m contradicts most articles which claim they're after a £350m loan and suggests 'by the end of Feb' when Hicks himself has suggested it will be completed this week
Telegraph article as an example:
'According to City sources, a £350 million deal with the Royal Bank of Scotland and American investment bank Wachovia could be announced early next week.'
The Reuters report is therefore significant as it changes what has been reported by reputable sources and news rooms.
it looks like they may have shelved the stadium or at least the financing of it but something is definitely going on despite the conflicting reports.
we therefore rely on these reputable journalists to do what they're good at and work their sources to get to the bottom of it.
