Wrong thread.

That's what we're doing

Wrong thread or not, just thought I'd remind some people who are unaware of the boycott who might come on this thread.

I've seen a few people who already have the new (real) shirt and from speaking to them, they are actually unaware of any boycott.
i tend not to bother with the politics of the club, i try my best not to think about it. That might sound daft to you but personally i couldn't give a toss. i enjoy going the match and i enjoy buying LFC merchandise

Might help if they knew why they were supposed to be boycotting it.

If they can't work out why the boycott might be in place, I seriously doubt they would take any notice of it anyway.

But I do see your point, education (as well as awareness) is the key.

Whatever the ins and outs of boycotting the new kit (normally I buy them in the first week but wont touch it this time) but this leaves me with a problem cos i have a terrible track record with knock off shirts,

you all might get boss dead on copies but i get the bespoke shirt for quasimodo.
the hologram might be spot on and the stitching on the badge look great but the sleeves are two entirely different lengths and the neck either is so tight its likely to cut off all blood to the brain or so loose it mightve been tailored for shrek , the green one not the twat.

So if i want a shirt need another plan, so do we reckon players shirts are ok? not sourced from the club and never intended for retail so would reckon no money is going near the club from them?

Im not sure and if it comes down to it ill just keep playing 7 a side in last years kit but thought would ask opinions as to if no money from the shirt is going back to our estimed owners is it alright?

I disagree. Putting
Please boycott all LFC official merchandise.
is not obvious to everyone why. Simply making the statement a link to the boycott thread isn't that hard, doesn't take up anymore space and actually explains the message'

"Please boycott all LFC official merchandise."

I've ordered the away Argentina kit with Mascherano on the back, as a taster to see how the fit is.  Hopefully it'll be as good as everyone on here seems to think.

One question, I know it says on Jomz website that they use the official numbers worn by the players, but can anyone confirm that for the Liverpool kit they use the proper felt numbers rather than some plastic ones like the international kits?

Cheers.   :)

I had the third kit delivered today. It looks very professional, the badge gives it away as a fake but apart from that the quality is very good.

Did you chose a payment method? You've probably missed something. If you're paying via credit card or Paypal, it should have been just a case of selecting pay now and following on from there.

Yeah. Well when it got to the payment method Paypal was the only option and was already ticked. When it got to the step for checking all details are right the payment part was blank. Clicked on edit and chose paypal again. After that it just directs me to empty cart and go back to homepage.

Is it me or this green above a different shade from the 3rd kit leaked shots I've seen. It looked more teal than green before.

I would have thought they use plastic numbers on the players' kits to be honest because the felt ones become heavier in the rain. Not sure though, all I know for certain is the "match day" numbers are a bit bigger than the ones you get from JJB etc.

Edit- Just received my home shirt, and it has (top quality) plastic numbering. As for the shirt itself- seems absolutely spot on. Chuffed

I finally got my Spain shirt from Soccertriads. One month i've waited. Totally missed the Euro's!! Gutted.

Aside from that the quality is excellent. Still waiting Liverpool one which i ordered at same time. Hopefully that will turn up this week. Otherwise it will be stroppy email no 5 to the useless wankers at Soccertriads.

I ordered a standard home shirt with Torres 9 on the back on June6th from soccertriads. I chased on 18th June and got a dispatch confirmation on 20th June.

Needless to say its still not arrived.

I sent another chase email and they replied say they will send another by recorded delivery.

If this is not here by July 20th I will complete the paypal chargeback. I have already started the dispute process.

I have promised my boy that if no shirt by Sat week - 19th I will get him one from Sports Direct.

This boycott is not worth the sadness I see in my boy every day he is let down...

Thanks for the info mate.

I might get it without the numbers then and get my brother to put the proper felt jobbies on instead.   :)

I ordered mine on the 1st of July and they arrived today. I paid for the cheapest option on the shipping, just airmail.

They all fit and are excellent - don't look fake at all.

What a bargain, £38 for that lot and not a penny going G&H.

You just beat me to it. I was about to upload my shirt that I ordered on the same day, but there's no point taking up more space with the same images of the new home shirt. I did, however, get the CL badge and the trophy #5 blue oval patch on the sleeves.

Regarding size: I ordered a (M) and it's fairly loose and just about close to being too long. It's fine, though. I recommend that if you are fairly tall and medium build (about 6 feet or just over, and weigh about 12-13 stone) then a medium will be perfect. If you are smaller and slim, get a small.
