http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=200326.0

EDIT - right, this seems to have got enough steam. Few things to clarify;
NO anti-American stuff - this isn't going to achieve anything
NO aggro please
Bring your flags, scarves and banners people. And most importantly your voices. G&H need to see (banners and flags) and hear (songs and chants) how we feel

There seems to be a lot of momentum behind showing our support for Rafa on Wednesday. It will be the best way to get out opinions to theowners, to show our support for Rafa.

How do we go about doing it? I'm just trying to get something solid that can be actioned so all of this doesn't peter out come Wednesday.

Songs? Deffo. Banners are another good way. Anything from the RTK boys?

Mods, delete if you see fit. I know it's being discussed in numerous threads and all.

And sorry if you don't agree with this, and you actually want Rafa to go, or aren't arsed and just want to go watch a game. I actually feel sorry for you.

There may not be a need for this - if the owners come out and unequivocally announce their support (and I don't mean a vote of confidence). If they keep playing the "we'll wait until 16th Dec" card, then quite frankly, THAT'S NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Mods, please don't delete this, for once. We need to give Rafa out 100% support and make those idiots realise how important he is to this club.

Yes there is a gathering at the Sandon for 7pm, loud and proud for our support of Rafa.

Bring along banners, scarves, everything, just make yourself heard and the added advantage is that Sky will be there

Great, some info already, thanks Phil. There are some people, like me, who just use RAWK. Can we keep this thread so they hear as well.

For the record, I'm not trying to scare monger or get an angry mob or anything like that. Some things need some organizing though.

"FROM WHAT I HAVE HEARED FROM A VERY GOOD SOURCE THE WEEKEND MAY BE TO LATE."

Well, least that seems to have been conclusively quashed.

"NEEDS TO BE WAY BIGGER THAN THE PARRY PROTEST."

That's for damn sure.

One of those big banners that the RTK do would be perfect.

Has anyone heard from RTK on this? I reckon by being vocal and using our voices we can get a message across. Doesn't have to be angry, but 90mins of Rafa songs and banner all over every stand would get our message heard.

They lap stuff like this up - contacting them to cover some stuff outside (rafatollah, protest/support) before hand will be a goer.

Ambush that frazier dainton.

Trying to organise an outing of the Rafatollah for the Bolton game aswell - have emailed a few that I know were involved for Barca so we will see how that goes.

Same thing goes for Bolton.

Songs, scarves, shouts, banners, flags - the whole fuckin' lot on Sunday.

And most importantly - THE KOP STANDING UP!

I know it's only Bolton - but FUCKIN' STAND!!!!
So. Fucking. Angry.

I know foresthills, and I know his sources are spot on. Therefore it is ESSENTIAL that we pull together here.

So come on. thoughts and suggestions in here please.

Also, I'm not speaking on behalf of the RTK, but I know a few of the lads are at various do's, sporting events and all over the country at the minute. So dont expect a generic RTK response. Bottom line though, this is an issue for every straight thinking Liverpool fan, we ALL need to pull together. Locals, wools, OOTs, OOCs, Irish, English, Welsh, Norwegian, Asian, American, Scallies, Whoppers, Jester hat wearers, black tracky wearers, male, female, young, old, the lot.

It's time to show the powers that be that WE will not have our most successful manager of recent years hounded out.
Rafa is a gentleman, and a winner through and through. There is no way these outsiders can be allowed to rip the brains out of our team.

I reckon if we just stick to songs and banners, and not contact press etc. it would be better. They'd lap up the CRISIS AT ANFIELD style headlines.

The simpler we keep this the better. As many pro-Rafa songs as possible, with Rafa banners. Simple, to the point and will effectively get our opinions across.

We need a massive show of support.

Banners, songs, and ANYTHING to show we are on Rafa's side.

As someone has said above, don't maek this an anti-American thing, and lay off the emails to Sky Sports for now. First things first, if we want publicity, we want someone in the media we can trust, not them slime at Sky that will twist it to suit their own agenda.

I'll email a contact at the echo an d get suggestions for publicity.

In the meantime think, what else can we do?

Great point - this has nothing to do with where they come from etc. but more their intentions.

One of the biggest things riling me at the moment is how they are content to just wait until they are conveniently in the UK next, while we have to sit through Bascombe style NOTW articles using words and phrases like "tirade", "preparing to ditch" and "it's now a matter of when and not if". All in the first few lines.

Fucks sake, I've said already today Rafa will become the best manager in the world. Right now we've got a chance to make a difference so that he becomes so at Liverpool and not somewhere else. If they don't listen, we can hit them in the pocket where it hurts.

In the longer term

They are here for the Manc game - a proper, massive, full kop/ground scale support effort needs to be coordinated - hopefully by the RTK - something on the scale of truth day Vs arsenal.
