whats the point in joining these torrent sites??? download speed?
i usually just search at torrentz.com and then choose pirate bay or kickass.

You rid yourself of the distinct possibility that someday you'll download a torrent that contains torrents, or a fake one that makes you download GBs for nothing.
A private tracker also obligates you to keep a good ratio, which works out as (Downloaded/Uploaded) so you can't be a leecher and the fact that everyone keeps on seeding is a big part as to why you'd get magnanimous speeds on these trackers. Plus, uploaders have a incentive of uploading only scene or some great packs to better their reputations.

First thing to try is flushing your dns cache. Sometimes the addresses stored in the cache get corrupted for whatever reason.

If in Windows: Close all browsers, then Run > cmd > ipconfig /flushdns

Restart your browser and see if that makes a difference.

I usually just use BitComet and downlaod from Piratebay so I was just wondering about Torrent Leech. I usually leave my laptop downloading and uploading everything on my computer 24 hours a day. Would it be better for me to become part of Torrent Leech or something similar ?

The whole point of Torrents is to share everything

Indeed. Most private trackers have BitComet users banned as well, since it messes up the DHT ports badly.
