Yes. Zoom in and do it few pixels at a time, zoom out, check it out, zoom back in, repeat and rinse - a process which takes about 12-15 hrs including finding the right photo to use. Backbreaking, eye-killing work! :)

How about Sir Roger?
I know that on his time, the player numbers arent fixed....
but we all know that he is really a number 9 type, isn't he?
Anyway, superb work mate!

Steve Heighway is another possibility for number 9.

RedRush, these cards are really first class work. I love the little not-obvious touches like "Toxteth deity...". What's the Chinese writing next to his name?

These could really sell. You can put me down for a couple of decks when you've done the whole pack. I'm looking forward to your jokers :)

The Chinese character is 'shen', meaning God or a deity. Classly little touch!

Absolutely love these cards. Would buy a pack no question. Can't think of a better stocking fillers for a red.

Good thinking, and it could be in different contexts. Given that it takes his so long to do I wouldn't recommend him spending time on a joke of a signing like Paul Stewart but a true joker could be Dean Saunders.

Then of course there's King Kenny, but who who be an Ace (could be Pepe but he'd suit number 1) or even a Queen (Steve McMannaman).

Sir Roger then, quite possibly the best #9 from what I've read of him!

Like John C says, it'll probably take me a year to make a full deck, and that's if I quit me fulltime work completely!   ;D

But I'm really, really interested to find out where to place the players. For example, I've Gary Mac down as one of the jokers (which I've reserved for cheap/free signings/wildcards who make a great impact/full value for money), while Aces are for the likes of Ray Clemence, Reina, Grobelaar.  :D

Steve McManaman as a Queen - you've read my mind!

Words simply cannot describe the joy I'm feeling looking at this jubilant portrait of Fowler. Didn't quite catch the comic part of it until I caught sight of 'Slartibartfast' partially occluded in the background text.

Liverpool's 9s of Diamonds and Hearts. Just the tonic for depression resulting from reading the post Brum match thread!

I think he'd already done King of Hearts Kenny sometime back. Can't quite find it.

RedRush, it would be cool if you got a public album somewhere that people can see the full pack grow as (if) you complete them. They get buried quickly in here. Photobucket? Deviantart? By they way I really think these cards could be a commercial proposition, and copyright may well not be an issue as they are substantially changed from the original photos. May be worth a punt!

p.s. Joey Jones and Igor for a joker!
