Liverpool has to beat Marseille to qualify, cause when 2 teams have equal points, it is the two games between those two teams that counts, not overall goal difference. So, since OM beat LFC 0-1 in the first game, a draw in the coming match means OM will qualify, not LFC.
ooops, sorry maybe i was wrong. If we beat porto and OM-LFC draw, then we'll have 9 points and other 3 will have 8. Then:
Between Porto-OM => porto is ahead (1-1 ; 2-1)
Between Porto-LFC => LFC is ahead (1-1 ; 1-4)
Between OM-LFC => OM will be ahead in case of a draw (1-0 ; draw)
Then what? Do they look at the overall goal difference? If so, LFC will qualify thanks to our 8-0 disaster:)
When somebody uses the word "if" so much (if this happens, if that happens etc.), then there is a saying in Turkish: If my aunt has bollocks, she would be my uncle. But how can we translate this in an understandable and meaningful way for our Liverpudlian mates:)))
Well, in summary, i realy dont care how, as long as we both qualify.
