Good online games?
« on: May 20, 2007, 10:06:35 PM »
I don't mean the kind where you spend 20 minutes playing then get drawn back to them because of the flashy lights, I'm after a couple with a bit more to them, that require some thinking and some strategy to be applied. All offers welcomed. :wave
You sure you want to do this?

I hope you like the taste of bleu cheese.

I read about this game years ago in Edge magazine;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fool_Errand

There is a link to the official website at the bottom of the Wikipedia page. Meant to be a class puzzle game - ticks all the boxes you outlined above.

See the Lords of Midnight thread on this very board - plenty of RAWKites involved.

Here are a couple of free games I played for a while

www.ogame.org (or net or com, don;t remember) which is a space strategy game -build up planets, build fleets, etc etc. Ended up getting annoyed and deleting my account

www.kingdomofloathing.com - you get 40 turns a day and go on adventures.

Try that one mate-detective game which is pretty difficult but a good laugh.

Took me weeks to solve it all.

TIP: try using inventory items together at some points.

Enjoy.
