Excellent performance all round.
Peter Crouch MOTM, the perfect hat-trick.
One of our best performances of the season.

Great performance from all the lads today, especially, aurelio, pennant and crouch

Reina 7 Made 1 great save
Arbeloa 7.5 Not as good as Aurelio and Pennant but better than some, good display
Carragher 7 Comfortable
Agger 7 Same as Carra, good finish for the 3rd
Aurelio 8 Played well at left back, looked comfortable
Pennant 8 Brillaint performance again from Pennant, keep it up
Mascherano 8 Looking to be a great signing, another great performance
Gerrard 7 The usual from Stevie
Gonzales 7 Good second half
Alonso 7 Quiet game did his job
Crouch 9 Brilliant display for Crouch, took all his goals fantasticly MOTM

Crouch was absolutely brilliant, with Aurelio not far behind. Demonstrated the benefit of a couple of more attack minded fullbacks, I think.

Had to listen to it on the radio today, but from the commentary, we sounded pretty fucking great, especially Mach and Crouch. Excellent start to the weekend and a great set up for the PSV game. Well in you redmen, especially Crouch, made up for the lad today.

Wel in Redmen, quality all over the pitch, great tempo and work rate and 4 quality goals, job done.

Little Masch was superb. I really like the look of that midfield, If we had two quality wingers I think we'd be unstoppable.

Crouch of course superb today but Aurelio and Pennant both did outstanding job out on the sidelines. Masch dominated midfield! Looking forward to the PSV game.

btw, fourth goal was an offside but how many passes did we put together there? Must be some kind of record.
