Anyone rememeber how many games it went down for Istanbul?

Reckon there will be a smaller allocation in Greece comparing to Istanbul, but anyone reckon you will b safe and sound with 6 games on FanCard?

We are only getting about 17000 tickets so I reckon FC's with 6 Credits won't have a hope!

For Istanbul, we were officially given 20,031 tickets.

Thet started by offering to those with 8 credits (home and away) out of the 14 games available.

They guaranteed that anyone with a combination of 6 credits would get a ticket.

Eventually some with 5 credits got a ticket

Ask UEFA? According to them capacity is 63800 & each finalist will receive 17000 tickets.
Now taking into account that you needed maximum home credits to get a Barca ticket you can assume there will be at least 25000-30000 fans with max credits. They will all have 6 if we reach the final so do the maths?
ST's with 6 won't even be guaranteed a ticket.

According to UEFA the capacity will be 63.800

With 9000 going to the winners of the ballot and 17.000 each for the two finalist, there will be around 20.000 to the sponsors and UEFAs big football family.

Absolute disgrace!

The sad reality is that if you don't have any Away European Credits on your FC you have NO chance of a Final ticket though LFC. Much has changed since Istanbul.
17000 Tickets.
First dabs to the 5000 shareholders. Then you have around 5000 people with at least 1 Euro Away Credit, assume they have all the homes too & thats 5000 with 7+ Credits. Then you have corporates, players & staff etc. IF we get to the final I estimate a max of 6000 tickets or less available to ST's with 6 Credits.
Feel free to debate!

I think they are. Me bird went to Istanbul and Cardiff last year cos she worked for the club. flight and everything was free. All corporate they said, probably a free flight for all them from Lonsdale for letting them rip us off.

But saying they were corporate, they were all in the upper tier behind are goal in the FA cup final and there were plenty of normal fans up there so don't know

Shit really, that a shareholder with no credits gets the priority before a fancard holder with 6 credits.

Shareholders have been guaranteed a ticket for finals for years. Them selling their shares this month, one of the perks was a guaranteed ticker for all finals for life and a seasie.

I willl be a fan card holder with all homes on me card and I am sure I won't get a ticket

Think its worth noting that like Istanbul if you dont qualify and want to go chances are you will know someone who does qualify but cant go. Dont think many will be ticketless that really want one.

..As of April it will be 2 for share holders and the rest would not be entitled?.....

Unless the club had decided to fook us over by promising the final tickets to share holders in exchange for selling the shares as well as their proposed seasies for life..??

So much for generating revenue from the matches if they're giving them away for free (often connected to touts so more touts will have them).

if Gillett and Hicks now have 80% of all shares surely that means that 4,000 of the 5,000(or 80% of whatever the correst figure is) shareholders are no longer shareholders and thus are no longer entitled to tickets?
if that's the case there should be a lot more tickets available for all future CL games this season

If only it were that simple. As a sweetener to persuade existing shareholders to sell the two gents allowed them to retain their existing rights to tickets for cup finals and CL games.

They retain current priveledges which will only change if they convert to Season Ticket holders in the new stadium.

Istanbul went down to 5 credits and a lot of people got sorted on even less.

Firstly, given the amount of c*nts in Barcelona I think it is a big assumption to make that anyone with one away credit will have 6 home credits. I would infact go as far to say that less than half of the people with one euro away credit will have been to every home match.

It's also a big assumption to make that everyone of the 5,000 shareholders would want a final ticket to be honest  because not all are going to go, obviously a lot will buy for others who don't want to go but I don't think all of them would take up an option of a ticket.

The Olympic Stadium is 8,000 smaller than the Ataturk, which is presumeably 4,000 seats less for each side. It would also depend hugely on who we played in the final because if we got Milan again then we'd probably get extra tickets that they don't want which is I believe what happened in Istanbul.
They only drink water and bottles of coke, the Everton boys are a joke...
