When/why did we stop singing 'In my Liverpool Home'? Because the Mancs/Cockneys do a piss take version? Fuck that, we should reclaim it  8)

'In my Liverpool home
In my Liverpool home
We speak with an accent exceedingly rare
Meet under a statue exceedingly bare
If you want a Cathedral we've got one to spare
In my Liverpool home.'

1:21:30 on this:

Also 'Liverpool, Liverpool, we're the pride of Merseyside' around there somewhere.

Just got goose bumps when we sang we shall not be moved after our goal.

There is no other song that comes close to this .
He who sees himself in all beings and all beings in himself loses all fear.

great in the upper. Lots of good singing.

And whoever made that song after the game;

"We got Adam lallana and a Phil couthino, Daniel Sturridge and Roberto firmino, that's entertainment"

Was at a wedding on Saturday and kept singing that all wedding!

Just came across this, funnily enough I've been singing something similar but to our old "best midfield in the world tune"

we've got the best attack in the world.. we got Adam Lallana.. Philip Couthino Mane and Bobby Firmeeniooo.

rinse and repeat

I also remember a variation of it after Justin Fashanu first came out, and John Fashanu had gave that interview saying he wouldn't want to be in a changing room with him.

Amazing how times have changed, that doesn't seem a long time ago to me.

Liverpool Football Club would like to remind fans supporting the Reds at Southampton on Saturday that the use of flares, pyrotechnics or anything similar is illegal and strictly prohibited.

Any individual found carrying and taking these items into St Mary’s Stadium may face prosecution.

Incidents involving flares were reported at LFC’s away game against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday October 29. The use of such devices breaches ground safety regulations and poses serious risk of injury to fellow fans.

Whilst the club greatly appreciates the loyal support of its fans, it will not back those individuals who choose to break the law and will support the police in obtaining a football banning order where appropriate.
Either we are a club of supporters or become a club of customers.

Was in row mm at the back and tried to get it going,  few lads around me laughed so I didn't bother after that.

Maybe it's best it's only sung when you're drunk walking down the street.

I was at the back and I joined in.

Personally, I just think it's OK.  Not great, not bad.

That makes me a bit weird because every one else seems to think its the best thing we've ever came up with or the biggest load of shite.

It's one of the ones that sounds completely weird when being sung by a crowd of people who are predominately not from Liverpool (e.g. "I was born under a Liverbird" with a London accent).

I think it's a decent song but there's far better old songs that don't get sung anymore.

Fucking treasure trove this game :) Kop in great voice throughout.

Got everything from the start ... lad shooting in the Kop, fabulous YNWA.

'Poor old Ipswich, you're gonna win fuck all' 2.10

'Dirty bastards tralalalalalala' 5.10

'Referee, Referee, you're not fit to wipe my arse' 11.40

'Clemence, Smith, Toshack, Callaghan, Heighway, Keegan, AND TOSHACK! What a beauty!13.35

'We shall not be moved'

'We hate Nottingham Forest'

'LIV ERP Double O L, Liverpool FC.'

Second half, two splendid runs by Heighway down the left (25.45 & 27.30), we score 29.30 and a lad runs on the pitch to shake his hand 34.50 ;D

'Derby, Derby, you are next'

'We're gonna win the football league again' 34.5

'We're gonna win the league' Piaf version 32.00

'I'm forever blowing bubbles' 38.20

'We'll support you evermore' 38.50

'God save our team' 43.20

... and a belting 'We shall not be moved' at the end.

'Poor old Ipswich, you're gonna win fuck all' 2.10

Love most of this but the 'Poor old xyz, you're gonna win fuck all is probably one of our worst songs.

I can only remember us singing it in the 80s when ever we played Arsenal.  I think it was originally a twist on their Cup final song in 71.

Their fans used to sing something along the lines of:

Good old Arsenal,
We're proud to sing your name,
whilst we sing this song,
we'll win the game

Which was a half decent song by their standards.

When they sang it we used to drown it out with:

Fuck off Arsenal (80s change from the 70's poor old),
You're going to win fuck all.
Whilst we sing this song you'll win fuck all.

Wasn't a great song then but it achieved the objective of drowning them out (believe it or not young'uns, Arsenal used to make a lot of noise back then, especially their away following).  Against any other team though that song's a bit shit.

Apart from that though....yes, boss.

Agreed, that song's fucking awful  :-X

If memory serves, wasn't that 'Good old Arsenal' song the winner of a 'Big Match' (Brian Moore) competition to find a Cup Final song for Arsenal for their Cup Final v us in '71? No wonder we took the piss.

From a different age that. Early 70's was mad like that, singing each others' songs. Like us singing 'I'm forever blowing bubbles' and Yernited and others singing YNWA.

What I like is our sheer arrogance in that clip.  :P

The warnings to next week's opponents that 'You are next!' and 'Here we come!', 'What's it like to be outclassed?', 'You're gonna win fuck all', 'Oh why are we so great?'  ;)

who is this? Great Minibus trip, very good laugh with a boss set of reds. Shame we didn't get the win but we were the better team, created good chances and we kept pushing for the win right to the end. Guy behind me didnt want no one to sing Lovren is on top of the league at the end of the game, not realising that we were still top of the league (at the time) ::)

glad the fans backed him, as last year for the 6-1 win, it felt like the away end was only singing Lallana's name.

thought it was really poor except for Emre Can goal mayhem, was with MKB ABJ Harinder off here and just felt like people were not bothered. Sing one song then silence. Sing another and then silence again. Two guys near us were getting in a heated discussion about singing during the first half which was really random.

agree with you Shanklygates loved the Ye Faithful chant and was disappointing to see so many leave when still couple of minutes remaining. Feels as bad as Palace that
