Good looking line-up. That was my guess for the midfield. Main surprise is Aurelio. Got to feel a bit for Warnock after being told that he would be number 2 to Riise for that position, as Aurelio would play mainly in midfield. Still, am pleased Luis is there so guess Aurelio won't get too much of a look in at LW, especially once Kewell returns.

Great to see Stevie back in the middle. I understand the problem we have in the middle, but stevie needs to have a certain amount of games in his favourite position.

Is he? I did wonder, but Benitez said we had a fully fit squad (Kewell must be a case of out of sight out of mind!) and physioroom don't have Warnock down and they're usually quite accurate.

If they do sit back as expected, then pace ain't gonna help too much. Plus they conceded 2 goals at the weekend to a beanpole striker

Love the lineup can't wait. Smart decision i think to choose Aurelio over Riise too, alot more comfortable on the ball and will help keep posession better. Glad to see Agger keeping his place once again and Kuyt still in the team too

Yep we'll need Momo for the trip to Bolton. not sure whether Alonso will be rested on Saturday tho, seeing as we have the intl break after this week.

Im sure Sky will be full of the 5 changes made bollocks, but we should still have a lil too much for Gala, its a perfect opportunity for Crouch & Pennant to get back into the groove.

interesting team.....good to see crouch given a start with Kuyt...2 players with good game intelligence, with luis too...surly = goals..
this could prove to be our strongest pairing up front...crouchie can be unplayable at times

Bellamy needs to get his head down, keep out of the papers, and focus on winning back his place...
although he has his court case coming up early next month, which worse case senerio, could result in 6 months behind bars
